Only because i rather have them both on disc, so i could line it up next to my other copies of this franchise. That and i could free up some space on my hard drive. What's convenient about the disc is you don't have to wait 2 hours to download it, it took at least 3 1/2 for me when I did it for TLAD. The trade-off, of course, is having to wait and obviously paying an additional $20 just for some added convenience. Still haven't made my decision yet. It's possible that the stand-alone disc, since it plays without the original game, does not include a way to install the episodes' radio content into the original game. Worse, it may have been cost prohibitive for Rockstar to re-license the original game's music to be included with the Episodes disc, which would mean you only have the music that was introduced with TLAD and TBOGT when you play the Episodes disc. I can only speak from personal experience. I have a slow, wireless connection. As opposed to staying up until 12am I can just sleep at a better time, go to the store, and pick it up (should I choose to). Don't go assuming that your experience is the same as everyone else's... Except for Niko, it's Luis. Except for Kate, it's Gracie. Except for Packie it's father Ancelotti (forgot what his first name is). The major difference is that Kate doesn't put out, but Gracie would definately put out. I find it pretty obvious that this was going in October as that's R*'s signature month to release GTA titles. R* didn't hook up Johnny with anything. Not even the ability to go out with Ashley. Even though Jeronimo Barerra "Rockstar VP of creative content" officially said on GameTrailers TV that Johnny would have the ability to date chicks online and such. I believe R* uses chicks that appear in the artwork but not in the game for viewing pleasure (I'd prefer the stripper models in the game over artwork, but then again the strippers in the game are nothing compared women in the real world). Just because somebody else will say it if I don't, "Get a girlfriend!". I have to admit though that Gracie's artwork still looks like it has a lot more atmosphere than other artwork chicks. Anyways, if Luis dates Gracie, she'll break up with him a bit before or after "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend" I'm guessing. My reason is because in Niko's story she becomes a random character after "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend", and I don't see how Luis would be able to date her at the time she stays home until the random character mission is done. You also have to take into account that TBOGT will most likely end before or at the same time of Niko's story and that Gracie's random character mission can be done after Niko's story has ended. Since it's the same release date, I'm pretty sure there is going to be pirating of the DLC about a week before 10-29-09 (29-10-09 for yous in Britain). I bet we can expect screenshots and/or artwork about every week or every other week now for TBOGT. I'm still hoping R* puts the "IV" into the TBOGT dlc. @Duxfever: Oh, I thought you are talking about getting off on the artwork. And i don't think it's because TBoGT is bigger or more stand-alone-ish than TLAD, but i think that it's simple because it looks better on the logo. Imagine that glowing stroke being on the IV. Given the randomness of my connection there's usually a solid chance that it will stop at some point during the download... this happened for TLAD... I thought that using "fag" as a slang word for cigarette was merely an British term. I didn't know it was that popular across the pond.
