Just forget about it. Even that video wasn't made either by R* or Team Bondi. I'll say it's unofficial. Why?... because at that time, this game is still under Sony's wing. So, it makes a sense when R* said they gonna release the "1st trailer" on Thursday.

Just forget about it. Even that video wasn't made either by R* or Team Bondi. I'll say it's unofficial. Why?... because at that time, this game is still under Sony's wing. So, it makes a sense when R* said they gonna release the "1st trailer" on Thursday.

As a matter of fact, it was under Rockstar's wing at the time when the teaser released in 2006. Check out the trailer again and you will see Rockstar's logo and Team Bondi's logo at the end of the teaser.

@FiS!!HeR Thanks for correcting me, I second that. As for the video itself, I've read somewhere that video wasn't made by the developer nor R*, instead it was made by unnamed CGI company based in Australia. Also, here's a R* statement regarding to the 1st teaser 5 years ago:

Yes, the teaser wasn't running on the game's engine, instead it was created by a tech called real-time global illumination technology. The idea was to give the audience an initial idea of what the game is about.

I can't wait to see this trailer. I'm going to try not expect too much as when the first trailer came out it was 'next generation' which is now obviously current generation that most if not all of us are accustomed to. Having said that I am still very impressed and suprised more and more when it comes to graphics.

 

What I'll be looking out for most is a sense of mood and atomosphere. Shadows, streetlights, steam coming from shores on the street, ambient audio etc. I was very impressed with the atomosphere in Alan Wake but would rather see this type of setting/atomosphere in a game with non-supernatural elements like LA Noire.

 

EDIT: Trailer: "Coming Noon Eastern" I hate this bulsh*t. What's eastern? I'm assuming like New York time.
