Hahaha yeah I seen that part last night over at a friend's house. Rusty is one f*cking epic son of a bitch.

 

Liked the part where he slapped the sh*t out of the skinny guy who "kissed the corpse" and in general is somekind of necropheliac f*ck.... Rusty is just brilliant overall.

 

Thing is, I probably played almost the whole game over at a friend's house. But on the other hand, is this a bad thing while the game is this goddamn bursting out of it seams with epicness?

To be honest the only nudes are the stiffs. Doubt there will be a problem.

Word up on some people flying through this game, i am taking my time, doing a case every so often and putting notes so i don't forget what happened.

 

Seems a waste to try clock it as fast as you can, but whatever.

 

I do like how the clue as to whether they are lying or not is not just involved with the look when your about to make the decision, you have to pay attention while they are talking as well.

If your parents are like my dad then they won't even look at it before they decide its to bad. I was playing the other day and my dad heard the F-Word he lost it asked me why he needs to hear that crap in his house...

Living with Mormons suck so easily offended. I have to play this game with Headphones when he's home but thats kind of a good thing headphones makes it easier to hear everything.

Not worried about what he'll see on the screen he never stops to look and thats a good thing.

Indeed I've been doing only a couple cases a day at most. Even skipping days to soak in the game before its inevitable end.

Witnessed the replayability value of the game AND how you can solve the same case in different ways (and maybe even frame people which I already thought yesterday when playing a case over at a friend's house with multiple suspects). Damn, this game keeps getting better and better just as Red Dead.

 

I can't wait to see this polished in full HD glory on a PC. A man can only hope and pray to Sagan.

I'm so confident of having fun replaying this. I mean the initial newness will be gone but there's something to be said for trying to do those cases all 5-star and as you say, the game is bursting with epicness. I also just found out you could back out of an accusation! I don't know how I didn't see this before!

 

And Rusty is a champ. Just finished that case last night you spoke of last night! Time to play some more now me thinks

 

@Rockworm: That's exactly how I've been playing it. Did loads on the first day, but have been taking it ham & cheesy after!

 

EDIT: @fullmetal: I wasn't replying to your last message^ but the one before. Seems you posted that just before me. There's also what you just mentioned to be considered. I didn't really understand all that until now. I've been playing really badly on the last few cases so I'm making more work for myself, but I'd love to see the different outcomes next time.

Completely agree PinkFloydSound. I also only happened to stumble over the fact that you can back out of accusations. I was sh*tting bricks, commpletely out of my mind because I thought once you accused someone of something you had to come with proof (and if you haven't gotten any you have to falsely accuse someone and get f*cked by your own ignorance).

 

I do hope they come with more cases. After Alan Wake and Red Dead another fresh breath in gaming in my humble opinion.

What am I doing wrong??

 

I'm on homicide and I just did the golden butterfly and the silk stocking cases. I really bombed with the golden butterfly - one wrong choice after another in the interviews - and so got one star for it.

But then I upped my game in the stocking case, and got 15/17 clues found and 9/13 correct in the interviews, but STILL got chewed out by the Super, and only 2 stars.

I want to replay them, so without giving specifics, what else affects the grade you get? is it that I'm too slow going from one crime scene to the next Or costing too much in public damages?

 

Any one got any ideas?

When stuff like that happens to me, it's usually because a vital clue has not been found yet. Try look for clues that you may have overlooked.

 

I'm playing with all the hints turned off so it happens me a bit but I like the challenge.

There's a glitch where if you reload while trying to get someone, and die, but one of your partners or police officers shoots the last guy, you can still move on. Happened to me on fallen idols. Very rare I believe

Has any one else noticed that sometimes when you ask your partner for directions they say left for a right turn or vice versa? I don't know if it's just a glitch or just me going the long way about it. Also I wish they'd used the indicators for directions and whenever we wanted in free roam, like in The Getaway.
