Don't know if anybody's noticed, but the guy at 3:24 in the L.A Noire tech trailer seems to be the serial killer from the second official trailer.

It looks to me like they've used the same concept artist, so I'm not surprised.

The idea that Phelps has Multiple Personality Disorder and killed his wife. If they did something like that it would be a massive con.

That would be lame. It would have to happen outside of gameplay and story, making it immaterial - the only knowledge of it being at the end when the cops arrest/kill him.

 

My moneys on the femme fatale in the trailers getting him to commit some kind of felony with the promise of sex.

 

Might try this in black & white.

From what I read, free-roam will be there but won't play a big part in the game, like there'll be some side-mission stuff to do, but the main focus of the game is on the story itself.

Ah, what the hell are you talking about? Who's arm and what relevance does it have? The map could be big and detailed, it doesn't really matter how big it looks drawn.
