Air/Ground War III

I haven’t played GTAIV or touched the PS3 since June and I haven’t had a real internet connection in my flat either, just a dongle, but I’ve been looking at some of the videos I made and seeing what a nasty sod I was with all those poor devils at the airport and it’s got me interested in playing again. So, I’ve arranged for an adsl connection to be installed next week and I’m going to wire it straight to the ps3 with a cable, set a static ip and be an evil bastard once more and kill all the children. I also want to do more recording since I’ve still got the Hauppauge. I’d definitely be interested in an AG war reunion. Nice to hear you are still around Chris. You’ll see me online in a week or so.

Hi Booze. Doing ok these days, hope you're doing fine too. These forums seem a bit inactive right now I must say. I'll be available for an AG war reunion even if no one else is. I took a look at your youtube channel and didn't notice too many new videos. Did you use the hauppauge much? I think I'll do a suicide bombing video in a bit. Never seen a video on that and was always so much fun doing it. Did everyone find new games to play? I buy a new game every now an then, take it out of the box, put it in the ps3, take it out of the ps3 and never use it again. Thing with GTA is you get nice music and you get free will - you decide if you want to kill or not. RDR probably provides that too, but no music and a horse's arse to look at.

i'm slowly improving, you can put me down as an amateur pilot for both sides ..... don't think i would fair to well in star junction but could probably put up a half decent fight at the airport, although i'll always be ground troop at heart

I'd be up for groundforces aswell... had some go at A/G last Friday for fun after a FM session... it's still EPIC, hope the elite pilots are finding their way back to this threat.

In past times if we were ever short on pilots we just used to go to a freemode and either a) wage a war against all pilots in game, or b) if they seemed fair players invited them to a AvG match, if they followed rules they where added to the hosts friend list and invited to future matches when we short of pilots ??

Were we ever short on pilots? You only need around 2 good ones, depending on how many ground troops you have. Anyway, I messaged ChristopherD asking him how he feels about that reunion match. I don't think him or me would be up for organizing a weekly event again, but maybe we could find some new organizers if people are really interested?

Yeah, I've had a PS3 for a little over a year now. I've actually played a few A/G matches on PS3 too

So a Saturday night would be the most convenient time for me. How about everyone else?

As of now, most people who have shown interest are on PS3, so we'll be focusing on a PS3 match first.

I'm flexible about times for this. If you and me are there Booze that's two pilots, but I think the game goes better with more if it's possible. One thing I'd still like to try is that turf war mode, I'm sure that could be a lot of fun.
