Okay then, I'll take over as the new organiser of A/G war on the PSN side. There won't be any matches this weekend since I don't think we could get enough people together at short notice.

 

Don't add my PSN ID, I have too many people on my friends list and to my knowledge rockstar hasn't fixed the over 50 friends limit glitch. So I'll make a new PSN ID later.

 

If we get enough people together there will a match next saturday, hell there'll be a match even if its just me Vs a newbie.

Anyway i'd love to join. When the DLC comes out i'd happily be a pilot(i'm a beast with the buzzard because it's much easier to control) but i'll only be getting TBoGT. But from now until march 30th i'll be a ground troop.

Okay, I have made a new account the ID is Captain_Owl, so add that to your friends list.

 

I was thinking of having the matches at the old times of 7pm GMT, 2pm EST on saturday. But the times can be changed if too many people have a problem with it.

 

As for DLC, I don't plan to buy it (at least not right away), even if I did I recall that (correct me if I'm wrong) the xbox side had problems with balancing issues and the fact that the blip over someones head didn't disappear when crouched. If there is a way to play a Balanced A/G war on the DLC please let me know. (I'm not going to read all the posts I missed when my internet went down for a month.)

No, you don't want to buy the DLC for A/G, it just doesn't work well. It's good for a screw-around match and a few laughs, but there just isn't a competitive side to it. You could try it on TLAD with non-pilots in the air (TDM's on TLAD are very similar to original IV) but again, I recommend against buying the DLC for A/G.

Anyways, back on topic. Personally, I'll still have to be with the ground troops due to not being skilled enough yet to fight in the air. Not playing GTA IV much recently doesn't help either.

Only one on one and the Annihilator is invincible (on top of the explosive rounds). I'm telling you, the DLC's are definitely not aimed at pilots, rather the people that never managed to fly on normal IV.

Sorry to derail the topic but MAG looks freaking awesome !! 128 player slots in multiplayer will be a major achievement for any console !

Actually, 128 slots for EACH TEAM! A total of 256 players in a match!

 

I friggin LOVE it!!! It is comparable more to the Battlefield games than the CoD games (which I like).

Can i join? I'm looking for better players than me so i can get better. I don't care if i get placed in ground or air, i'm training both. I already know the basics and stuff (Thanks to Booze T ) and i can pilot a bit, but i want to get better. GT: iktNL
