^^ As lellep said I rounded up a few people for A/G a few hours late. We got LIN charger lellep me johnwontscore haung lee and big tony and arsonist in to the game but john and lellep were having probs with connection so they droped out. We were only ably to get 1 match going but someone i suspect lin or charger invited there friends. so it was more of a trail match. anyway the pilots won due to GT and pilots alike not following instructions. i tryed to get a second match going but people left/droped out and there was inly 1 pilot so i said f*ck it and left.

 

BTW haung lee sorry for kicking you but we told you on mic and in text chat to turn your music down/off but you wernt listening/couldnt hear.

Well, i got meds now. it's not even Swine Flu i don't think. I'm not honestly sure what it is... my temperature keeps changing randomly :-/ it went from like 99.5 to 98.6 in like 5 minutes... and then back to 99.5... it's weird.

Air vs Air was kinda fun tonight guys. It's just a shame LeRay lost his rag (once again) and killed it. I never really expected things to go plan, though. After all, it was one of my ideas. My ideas are never truely successful

 

Nevertheless, it was fooking badass watching the other choppers shooting at us 10,000 ft up in the air. I reckon if we could bring a bit more stability to the game then it could become a permanant fixture to our 'Air' Sunday.

A/G was good. To me, Air/Sea is starting to loose its shine, so new ideas like Air/Air are welcome. I was pilot (in A/A), so it was probably more exciting for you guys, but we might be able to work this out out. I think the pistols are a bit too weak for this mode, so I say we try smg or assault rifles. Also, should heli's be able to get health? This was like the main reason why it took so long to get kills, every time someone is almost dead, the pilot just picks up a healthpack...

Well, I don't know about what you did during the game when I was on a different team, but I distinctly remember in the lobby, when everyone was screaming, making any exchange of information virtually impossible, instead of you calming things down, you started singing, adding to the noise. Didn't really make a good impression on me as a "peacekeeper"

I'm sorry, but we can't all act like a f*cking geriatric 24/7 like you, Booze. Some of us like to get a bit loud sometimes. Some of us like to laugh and sing and sh*t. It's fun!

Wolf and the usual suspects were still screaming and shouting, but there wasn't much anybody could've done about that. I tried calming them down, Swooner tried calming them down, but they just didn't want to listen. In the end they all had to be put on mute.

Leelee if you want to take on that role in the trial matches be my guest ....... good luck !! I personally do not take any charge of the trial matches, I only offer advice to players who want it, that way I can tell who wants to use this event for a mess about (which is fine in the trials) and who is into the competitive side of this game (traits I am looking for, for Elite games )

 

But in the elite matches I don't feel there is any need for the enforcer role as anyone in the elite matches will be selected by me or swooner ( this would of happened this week but I was high and didn't see Booze's invite till late !! )

 

So if Booze and Swooner are OK with it I would like to offer the captain role or enforcer role ?? for this Saturdays Trial match just to see how you handle the madness

I have a feeling that some people may be wondering what the hell you two are going on about. This seems to be the issue at hand: We’ve had some very UN elite players.. wait.. it’s not even a matter of eliteness... annoying beyond belief ground troops lately. These (often young) people are eating up our airwaves with their own often sh*t brained agenda. Half the time they’re trying to preach to the masses how awesome they are, meanwhile showing absolutely no results in A/G. I cannot identify the many voices, but I will say that Satanic Wolf can shoot guns & is probably fun when he’s not obviously bored, but he is about as reckless as a retarded two year old with a chainsaw. Absolutely no maturity, just a voice… & more voice… & more voice…

 

Cap’n swooner says: there’s no room for him in A/G. If anyone has issues with this please talk to myself, Booze, & Nitty.

 

Next issue at hand: I do not like to be bossy, I just want to maintain order. I believe that’s what we all want. Especially Booze. We need to compile a proper A/G elite list. We had a full night on Sunday, & we could have done without people who are out to annoy. Muting people is just not enough.

 

Booze, you have done well with this event. You had asked if the teams looked alright & we didn’t object. I think now we need dish some hard disciplinary action to these lousy elite wannabes. If they cannot communicate & understand chain of command, they should be kicked. Agreed?

I have a 2 or 3 hour shift on Saturday morning putting out a LIVE video webcast of a local radio show. I am usually home by 9:30, 10am.

 

This past Sat., our server went down at the very worst time possible. My Bosses want to cut the show already (I LOVE doing this show...its fun), so they are looking for any reason to cut it.

 

I ended up not getting home until 7:30pm. At the time, I had every intention of coming in here and explaining things but was like "I'll just rest my eyes for a ..." The next thing I knew it was Sunday.

 

I DID get on for a cpl matches on Sunday, but got a call Sunday night (yes...at home) from work saying that I needed to be in the Human Resources office 1st thing in the morning.

 

Turns out that they did a 'Check' on my computer and discovered a site I had been to that was 'Tagged' as a porn site (won't go into details, but trust me that I am not so stupid as to look at porn at work).

 

This gave them the inclination to check EVERY site I had been to, and how long I spend there.

 

You guys see where I am going with this? You got it...I many times open up several browser windows with this site (gtaforums.com) and leave them up all day. Needless to say, I had some "splainin" to do.

 

So, I can no longer post here while at work, which sucks balls to no end cuz, even though I may have kept the windows open all day, the actual amount of time I spent posting was in the range of 5 - 15 minutes a day. I am even taking a slight risk by talking about this cuz I am convinced they are actually now monitoring what I post here (Tonya!).

 

I am NOT giving up these matches or the organization of said matches. I just hope you guys are patient with me, as I won't be posting as much.

 

I am aware of the fact that is a bit pathetic that GTA means so much to me, but, right now, it is how I get my aggressions out after a day of trying to get the taste of ASS out of my mouth (look for a post in the MP forum on what GTA means to me...been working on it here and there for about two weeks now). Without it...well...all I can say is "Bell Tower".

 

Sorry for not taking care of this thread the way it deserves. It makes me EXTREMELY mad to hear ANYONE giving Booze sh*t about ANYTHING concerning his dedication to this Event. If it was me, I would have kicked the motherF*CKer out on the spot!

I couldn’t get into any of the weekend’s matches. I got disconnected by the router or by dinner time (I’m sorry, but bacon and eggs is rare where I live so I’m not going to let that go cold for anything). I’m still not sure if it’s the router or the ISP that’s playing up, but it’s definitely not the PS3 that’s to blame as PS3, Ipod and PC all disconnect at the same time.

 

Chris: your managers sound like retards to me if they think snooping around on people’s PCs is going to improve the performance of their organisation. The only way you will ever get the best out of people is by treating them right and making them feel valued. That sort of tactic applied to good employees has the result of de-motivating them; applied to bad employees it has no effect at all as they are just *ssholes anyway and really don’t care what you say to them.
