Well that turned out to actually be fun!

 

I didn't thimnk we would get enough ppl for a match, but stuck around for a few and got like 10 ppl.

 

The matches were fun, even with that few ppl! I did a pretty fair job of taxiing in the second round til FallenLeader dropped me for no reason...lol

 

Friggin lellep in the last round...

 

And the mic banter was priceless. Several guys with thick accents (for me anyway) talkin ALL kindsa sh*t...going over grocery lists...

 

"Yea! I got eggs...and milk...and waffles! Yea I got waffles!"...wtf???

 

Great time! Thanks to everyone that showed for an entertaining hour!

 

Off to the Inlaws house...

 

At least there is football...

Hahaha yeah I agree Chris.. the matches were really fun ^^

First match was ok but Easy left early so it was only me left on the pilots team so we lost that one with like 150 $

 

Second match was in Bohan and Chris did a nice job taxi-driving, picking me up a bunch of times.. TY m8!! xD

Not sure but I don't think the other guy "skygrills" was a pilot lol.. he was just standing in a corner of the island doing nothing lol so it was only me fighting the GTs, managed to get a win anyway.. epic last moments with Chris blading and shooting(?) GTs with plenty of lag lol XD

 

Last game was in Colony island and it was good until I died and there were just no cars anywhere lol.. So I had to run all the way to the heli-tours and well there, there were no frickin' choppers either.. I didn't know what to do so I just ran around in the city for a while until arsonitz died and had to go get a new chopper.. when he arrived the cars and helicopters started spawning again.. and well, while I was runnin' around in Algonquin arsonizt managed to get a bunch of kills and I also got a few kills in the end so pilots got a win there xD

Lol brilliant game, i think was the most enjoyable.

 

Lol great piloting by Lellep, oh and Chris got RPG'd out the sky in the last minute and almost accidently bladed me i was like 'OMG' and sprayed my M4 into his cockpit!

 

I got an RPG kill but this is trial match so no medal... But i got M4 and PSG kills in the elite matches, i just rembered where's my medals lol?

But then I remember that I "splattered" some1 earlier in the game (after I had been shot) and that must have been you and I was like "hehehe, free kill "

Our games were fun too, though not as many people as we hoped for. Original Techno was there, but I'm beginning to suspect that he's been ordered to sabotage the event. Don't know about Original Flamer, formerly known as IC Deathman. He played well every time and didn't show any signs of trouble, though people still chose to kick him..?

 

We had some new GT's and it showed. Two wins for the pilots, but I'm confident they'll learn the ropes eventually

 

We had too few people for Air/Sea, which made it a bit hard to balance things out. I'm still confident that the pirates have a decent chance, as long as they use their heads. On the Air Force side it's more or less mindless gunning.

It's in the location where there are alot of building that i can't circle is when i dont do good.. all i can do is fly past and let them waste there ammo on me.

Was entertaining, and friggin harder than what i had thought As soon as 1 pilot see's you, they just want you dead. Annoying thing was, i had set a couple of choppers alight, only for them to dip away and get health.

Bohan was a beast of a match.

Yes, it most certainly did show. Tim sucks! All he did throughout was critisize the game (despite him saying he was having fun?) and make dopey moves and get himself killed. His friend was a bit smarter, but still needs to learn a thing or two.

 

People really do need to start listening to swooner though. At one point he was all but ready to just give up and leave the kids to run about doing their own thing. Personally, I don't follow orders too well. I prefer to just go off and do my own thing. It works for me and it does no harm so why the hell not, right? But, when it comes to other players, when they choose not to follow orders it doesn't bode well for the team.

 

Booze, you REALLY need to toughen up and tell (yes, I mean TELL) everybody to behave themselves during the elite matches. Tell everybody to SHUT UP and TELL them that they better behave themselves or they're OUT!

 

Now, all I ask players to do is PLEASE STAY THE HELL OUT OF MY WAY. I work better on my own. I don't want anybody else around me, I don't need anybody else around me. Please, stay out of my way and let me do my own thing. I got absolutely owned in the airport car park (my favourite location, so don't think I'm just bitching) last night, because everybody scrambled down there and it became overcrowded. I specifically asked at the beginning of the match that only a couple of people stay in the car park as the subway station really is the best place to be.

 

It seriously does make more sense. You've got enough cover up there and enough room to get some decent shots AND it makes it even harder for the pilots. While everybody is up there, it also gives the people in the car park (who often don't even get spotted by the pilots) an excellent chance of sneaking up on the pilots while they're focusing on the station platform. When everybodies just running about the car park in the open like a bunch of headless chickens it gives the pilots a ridiculous chance of just capping us off one by one. Please people, in future, just use your damn heads.

Haha. I'm not taking the game too seriously at all. I'm merely suggesting that people begin using their heads during Air/Ground. Incase you haven't realised, camping is the best tactic to use in this game. You stock up, find a good spot and wait for the perfect opportunity to open fire. Running around like a spaztic waiting to get shot isn't going to get us anywhere.

 

Who the f*ck are you anyway? I'm guessing this is either Tim or his hillbilly friend?

I just started f*cking about on the PS3 one, you may be right about camping but i know for a fact i'm right about respawning. If somone sees you at a semi decent place, they'll go aswell since they are close by / easier access. If a chopper pilot sees where your bullets are coming from, they will aim towards you. And as Booze said, yous are sitting ducks. So as i said, your fault for camping.

 

(see me moaning about the amount of people up on the station platform at bohan? double building next to it seems quite decent aswell with a good cinematic scene jumping off onto the tracks with a chopper shooting you. Dam you Johnwontscore )

Right so he's not form 360 side so he wouldnt understand the people that we play with dont think about stuff..

 

And when a pilot is concentrating on a target and some one is shooting them.. They usually dont spot them

If it was up to me it would be me and Swooner versus the entire airforce of North Korea, but it aint that simple !!

 

But seriously I think that from now on if possible Booze should invite his Elite pilots and me and Swooner will invite the troops that way we don't get any noobs in the elite matches.

 

Trial matches invite who you want cos they don't really matter, but if I am to have any chance of organising my troops I need to know who they are and how to get the best out of them.

 

Leelee - I am happy with you doing your own thing, and will let the troops in the elite matches know, in the trial matches though I would suggest packing some explosives if someone gives away your position then blow them sky high !!

 

SJ - your troops should always have atleast 2 locations set before a match, as soon as the game starts check your map for spawns and select the one that has the better weapon sets.

Well for me it was a good day as GT. I almost doubled my pilots body count. Got 11 kills tonight in 3 matches.

 

First match we tried a new location in Dukes that was very good for pilots and not so good for GT.

I mean, I think that we used it wrongly by starting on top of the train tracks.

As soon as I went to ground level I got 4 kills.

I think we could use it again with a different strategy.

 

Second match was a massacre for GT. I accepted the airport setting cause of my lack of experience I guess.

Chris wasn't there so we made a big mistake.

Fighting pilots in the airport, awesome pilots like arsonizt (btw first time I play vs you man, and congrats, you are VERY good ), it's a tactical suicide. Maybe using some other area near the airport could work better but fighting from where we were was absolutely pointless.

I would respawn in open ground with two or three choppers flying above my head = certain death. To be precise 21 certain deaths (3 or 4 suicides too lol).

Even though I managed 3 kills in that apocalypse... Anyway good game to learn what not to do in a A/G war.

 

Third match in Colony was very close and decided in the last seconds. Imo we did great in Colony even if we lost. I believe that this location it's the best for GT. I got a spot in Colony that allow me guaranteed kills every match and it's very hard for pilots to catch u there. Got my other 4 kills here. And that's all I guess. Good Games.

thanks man I appreciate the love right back at ya I saw your gunfire hit me a few times good sh*t and Airport is never a good spot for an A/G war unless your in the tree areas crouching, when your out in the open even crouching isnt going to work but like i said on the mic whoever chose airport had balls lol and noticed a few GTs leave but for the ones that stayed I give props because you stayed and took it

 

as far as colony island spot that was a b*tch!! I for sure thought GT had that one because that area you GTs were at was tight and there really wasnt room to fly comfortably until i saw Lee's flying pattern from the river side and noticed he was flying into the bridge like i was so I tried flying high side from the building behind and flew down slowly and back up between those 2 boilers and it worked but that close to GTs only makes for helis catching fire quick and only reason Pilots won that is because way too many GTs standing up towards the end

 

I heard a few of the newcomers say "fu*king pilots getting health" on the mic in every match that we played lol

in practice or trial matches yes i fly for health but as far as elite matches I DONT.. the GTs that have been around since I 1st started playing know in Elite matches i let it burn til I blow or go kamikaze

Leelee, you've always did your own thing and it works just fine. The fact that you still stay with the main pack shows that you have the common sense to keep the pilots in full GT fire range. no worries...

 

Just to be clear to all, I've been having a blast with A/G. As long as players aren't being too disruptive to the game & others. It's been all good as far as I'm concerned. That being said I present to you:

 

swooner's three (no brainer) Elite Ground Troop Tips:

 

A) Don't Die (gives pilots points)

B) Stay Crouched (Unless you want/can afford the attention)

C) Make Use of Weapon Spawns (more exploding pilots please)

Jude: thanks for calling me a “pr*ck” in that CvI game. Coming from you it felt like a compliment, so I was quite happy with that. I played that bomber role thinking it would make it fair because there were two teams of three with me on my own team. A good explosion adds a bit of colour to a game too.

 

I was only in one AG war at the weekend, but it was good because there were some classic players there; particularly Lin and Charger in the airforce.

 

Chris: Wednesday matches are past my bedtime, which is why I didn’t stick around long last week.

 

Bruceter: that was a brave run you tried. I thought you were going to make it too and I would have been gutted if you had. I had to drop out of orbit and leave myself exposed to get you in the end there.
