Definately!  The PSN side needs to catch up on locations with the 360 side.  Sounds like they have found a bunch of good spots!

Cool, so tomorrow, at the rollercoaster/themepark, then on the two story train station in Dukes.

 

I was also thinking the easy accesible rooftops in Northwood, or the Broker to Algonquin bridge over Colony island since we can have people down on the tracks aswell lol. AND last suggestion for now, the southern Algonquin constryction site, because loads of cover and the pilots have to be careful of the cranes for many reasons.

Those sound cool...

 

And we have actually done the southern cranes in Algonquin before with some success. That was awhile ago, though...so we may do ecven better now!

 

I just hope some Pilots show...

Well for me it was a good day as GT. I almost doubled my pilots body count. Got 11 kills tonight in 3 matches.

 

First match we tried a new location in Dukes that was very good for pilots and not so good for GT.

I mean, I think that we used it wrongly by starting on top of the train tracks.

As soon as I went to ground level I got 4 kills.

I think we could use it again with a different strategy.

 

Second match was a massacre for GT. I accepted the airport setting cause of my lack of experience I guess.

Chris wasn't there so we made a big mistake.

Fighting pilots in the airport, awesome pilots like arsonizt (btw first time I play vs you man, and congrats, you are VERY good ), it's a tactical suicide. Maybe using some other area near the airport could work better but fighting from where we were was absolutely pointless.

I would respawn in open ground with two or three choppers flying above my head = certain death. To be precise 21 certain deaths (3 or 4 suicides too lol).

Even though I managed 3 kills in that apocalypse... Anyway good game to learn what not to do in a A/G war.

 

Third match in Colony was very close and decided in the last seconds. Imo we did great in Colony even if we lost. I believe that this location it's the best for GT. I got a spot in Colony that allow me guaranteed kills every match and it's very hard for pilots to catch u there. Got my other 4 kills here. And that's all I guess. Good Games.

Are there any confirmed locations for this weeks trials ? or shall I just ask the pilots and GT's to nominate one each in the lobby, also are there any players on PilotsMustDie friends list that are currently banned ?

 

and finally if possible I might hold a Maverick V's Fire truck / Bus round instead of Air Sea let me know what you think ?

LeRay's cleared, he paid the price and took it like a man (even though he was banned from the Elite match and still showed up, he was cool about staying on the pilots team and admitted his mistake, which must not have been easy), so I welcome LeRay back in the Elite matches

 

The Jury's still out on Tonksi (need one more opinion), but it doesn't look good for him. If I don't get that last opinion before Saturday, he's out completely.

 

Edit: It's decided that Tonksi is no longer welcome in the Xbox matches. I hereby apologize to anyone he's pissed off. You won't have to worry about him anymore. I'll be the first to admit that he's the best pilot we've had so far, but some things weigh far heavier than that. We feel that he's turning this whole thing into something we don't want it to be.

On top of that, it's not like there's a lack of pilots on Xbox anyway...

 

Nitty, you can invite n2 if you want, but it will most likely result in him getting kicked by the other participants.

 

As for the locations: Just make sure that we have at least 1 that favors each team. Then you can do the experimental round and if people are still up for it, you can add another round, where you decide on the location then and there.

 

About the experimental round: go for it!

Keep in mind that the fire engine is probably more fragile than the bus (it takes damage in more than one spot), which only takes damage if shot directly in the engine at the back.

To all others please do not kick anyone from the lobby this is a TRIAL match to weed out the troublemakers and noobs from the Elite games, if I have invited someone it is because they have requested to play and it would be cool to keep the big number of players we get week to week. Oh i'll be there. So yeah we're going to do the first match in the theme park on Firefly on the rollercoaster side. Then i was thinking maybe the junkyard/trainshed in Broker next to the swingset...

 

Then i thought of a totaly new game mode! GROUND/SEA War, where the GTs have to take out the squad boats coming around the shoreline. (So basicly on a coast like the industrial wall we have a boat or two with four people in with SMGs vs. the GTs.) Lol thoughts?

There is a problem with the Shoreline Battle...If you are driving a boat, you cannot shoot up. This means anyone driving will not be able to participate (other than driving).

 

If we do a new mode, I would really like to try out our first mission for the GTAF-PK!

 

I can't WAIT to see the reaction of random Pilots when an actual Team shows up in their FM determined to Ground them permanently!!!

 

And we haven't had a weekend match in awhile...so will have to see how many show...

I was a lot more effective as a Taxi though it was still a lot of fun on the ground despite the ass whupping we took at Firefly Island, though that had everything to do with the game giving us sh*t spawns.
