gta_king Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 Got mine yesterday and just got round to playing with the Decal Editor, much better then the one in Forza 2. Seems a lot quicker and the fact that you're not painting it directly onto the car and instead onto a blank canvas makes it so much easier to use and tweak. Yeah I rang them up today, and they said the date for the 22nd in their catelogue was before Microsoft made it official. Anyway I managed to order it at Inifinity Games today. The thing is though I asked the woman if they were releasing it tomorrow, and she said yes. She then pulled out a copy of the game, and sat it on the bench. I then put some money on the order, but the fact the game was sitting infront of me was kind of torturing. lol Oh well atleast I've guaranteed myself a copy for tomorrow. Algonquin Assassin Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 I got the game this morning, and all I can say is wow. I didn't waste anytime modifying my cars. I bought a 87 Pontiac Trans Am modified it a bit, and sold it to upgrade to a 09 Pontiac G8 GXP. The closest thing to a road going Commodore. Speaking of which the V8 supercars are awesome. I turned it back on, and there was the red rings of death staring at me. I thought "NOOOOOOO not after just getting Forza 3". I played around with the cord on the power pack, and the light turned green. Turned it back on, and everything was fine. I've owned my 360 since January, and it's never done this. gta_king Posted October 23, 2009 Share Posted October 23, 2009 When you first boot up the game it asks you if you want to install the 2nd disc, once that's done you won't need the 2nd disc again unless you need to reinstall what's on it. Well, the physics are better, the AI is improved and apparently the tracks are more varied Heheh... Didn't get my copy yesterday, needles to say I'm a bit pissed. Hopefully it arrives tommorrow. Another thing is that Dan Greenawalt (T10 Dev.) said that FM3 is the best racing game made yet. Now that the Charger Daytona is in it though, I might have to buy it. The old cars specs are way off. I can name numerous problems with the cars of old. I don't care about graphics, I just don't see why they would use the same old cars with new modeled badges.
