Good job, it's not perfect but it looks decent enough ingame. Muzzle flashes fixed yet or isn't it that 'perfect'?

 

But as I said before good work... things start to develop faster and faster biggrin.gif. More custom weapon models and skin for IV!!!

How do you get the smd? Cos it has that on the video and i really don't know!

I've found out you can export it with spark iv.

Now im having troubles importing it into 3ds max.

Nothing apperas when i try.

When you are exporting from sparkIV make sure that the box next to drawable is checked.

Just be sure the texture in the WDR (that you added it in the model) has the same name than the texture in your WTD.

 

So, problems can be that:

 

You're adding wrong texture in the WTD or vice-versa

Your model is not using the correct WTD, it is looking for another one and is not finding the texture there

Looks great, but if you don't have permission of silent viper, you can't release it confused.gif

Sorry for the lack of updates. But I've been really busy with other IV related stuff (Collision and a map editor). And school started a few weeks ago.

 

I hope I'll be able to fix the last few bugs with the muzzle flash and bump maps soon.

 

ZModeler2 released a wdr exporter so I am not sure if I should continue work on this converter. Tell me what you think.

i agree with quechus on this one Zmodeler is so Confusing to use, Please continue so the people who use MAX dont have to go on rat race to move models from MAX to Zmodeler all the time, its complicated
