hello, how can i set antialiasing in enbseries? I have edited my .ini and set antialiasing to 2, when i run the game, screen is like zoomed four times... help

Just press ENTER until you're playing. The Menu is Zoomed but once ingame, it's fine.

Hey guys,

 

I have a slight problem with ENB. Now, I know that it makes my resolution a lot larger than usual, but only in the menus. But, after a while, I noticed that I'm getting my resolution enlarged into that enormous one in certain missions. It get's very difficult to play some of those car chasing mission when you don't have your map anymore. Is there any way to fix this? And don't tell me to turn off Anti-aliasing, because that's one of the main reasons for why I took ENB.

 

Please, can someone help me with this?

Okay, here's another problem.

 

My map appears only when I take out the phone. That's a problem I can live with I guess, but it still annoys me, and also my phone appears like it's 4 times zoomed in, so I can't even see it's menu. Any help for that even?

The only way to have things normal would be to use FXAA (different way to get anti-aliasing in GTA IV) instead of FSAA. FSAA (anti-aliasing as you are using it) renders at higher resolution then scales down. Thats why things look so zoomed in and huge in the menus etc.

The quality is a bit lower compared to FSAA, but you won't have the problem anymore....good luck! smile.gif

The problem with the game being zoomed came with Dpeasant3's ENB. I'm now using Icenhancer 3.0

 

BTW, I noticed so many other people using FSAA and having perfect graphics. Even more perfect than mine.

You mean FXAA? Well, that's because other settings are higher. The best looking screenshots still have ENBs native AA enabled at extreme resolution and other settings are also on their max. Don't expect something playable unless you have the best of the newest for all components in your PC.

ahhh poo yeh your right its just visual IV working, the shift + 12 is'nt working. tho boris's sharpening tool is working.

so i tryed enb series again found a config that works on eflc

 

 

 

but the game crashes instantly when i go outside the apartment i tryed removing my scripts i tryed starting a new game nothing it just instantly crashes when i get to see a car or go outside the apartment instant crash

You may have vehicles modded, and cars saved in the parking spots. GTA IV doesnt like that. Try to start a new game, or teliport some where away from the appartment.

so.. can some1 plz tell me how can i add to my enbeffect.fx file high DOF and blur?

when i am driving with white cars they're shining like gold in the sun.. how can i reduce

that stupid shiny effect on cars, i don't mean the reflections, btw. on white cars reflections

aren't visible, the whole car is shining and getting into yellow colour.

 

if some1 really could read this and help me i'd be grateful, yup thanks!

i already tryed that i tryed airbreaking right out and as soon as i get out the apartment instant crash

 

i tryed everything removing all mods including modded cars i tryed removed saved games and making a new game as soon as the cutscene stops the game crashes

Hi guys. wondering how I can use Depth of Field? And whenever I turn aliasing on it switches resolution and the picture is really blurred.

Has bokeh dof by Icelaglace been already released? (From this donating stuff confusion)

How is it not?

It's in the 1.35 package, unobficated. Don't know how you could miss it.

 

 

@Elemunt:

You should try packages in the ENB Screenshot thread for IV, some of them include FXAA, which doesn't strain your computer as much as ENBs default AA does and DoF is incorporated.

Is there a faq for the mod?

My problem is that the menu font is gone. I tried repatching the game, reinstalling ice, and some other stuff but nothin'.

maybe color ambient1 or direct color/lighting on your timecyc

try different sun RGB on your settings or SunCoronaIntensity/SunDesaturation level

or bloom color (R= 1.0, G=1.0, B=1.0 default)

2nd from gamma (enbpallete) try using textures with lower gamma level

have you try editing EColorSaturation or float EBrightnessV1 on (enbeffect.fx)

1. Is ENB running with GTA IV's 1.0.7.0 patch?

2. Can I still play online with modified files from ENB?
