Same thing already asked three times: can you release your new ENB set? I don't understand why the hording when you request other people's sets and they provide them to you but you don't release your works?

As I stated on Pg 1106 "You have my cooperation." However, why is it that questions cannot be addressed and or answered such as the ones I posted (below)? Is this a collaborative agreement or consensus amongst GTAForums staff and moderators or is it just you, Andrew? Is it because of the length of thread? Honestly, not many people give a crap about helping others unless they get some feedback at the same time so basically, the ENB photo thread will become the new ENB Release thread with help and screenshots - it's the same thing except for which actual thread they're using. I'm not challenging you or disrespecting you, I'm noting that the decision to warn/ban/lock doesn't make sense on the ground of screen posting...

 

 

We have a screenshots topic for ENB series, please use it otherwise we'll have to close it considering everyone still posts them in here.

If we are looking for feedback on the tweaking of the ENB sets, is it safe to post thumbnails (in a certain limited number i.e.: 1 ) or do we have to post links (TEXT) links to the examples we are trying to figure out i.e.: What's wrong with the tone of this set? I understand why you dont want anymore screenshots here.. There are many people are just spamming with screenshots of DP3's, ALEX's settings.. those kind of screen shot shall go to the enb picture thread.

Guys, i need your help :\

 

i have an issue with ENB.... i think....

 

i used to run ENB on my old(er) HD4870 and it ran with a relatively satisfying 18-25 fps. it was OK-ish.

 

i recently upgraded to a HD6870 and i see no improvement in FPS at all. in fact if i play with ENB on and press shift+f12 to turn it off, while visual quality goes back to stock visuals the FPS doesnt change a bit.

however if i change the name of the d3d9.dll (or however its called) so the game wouldnt load ENB at all i can play without ENB in a much better FPS.

 

so how come when i run ENB without AA i get pretty poor FPS (around 25, tops) while my GPU is considered pretty good? impretty sure that ppl with lesser GPUs get better FPS than me.

 

ignore the signiture. my rig is:

Q6600 at 2.7ghz

HD6870 1GB

4GB ram on one stick

OS: win7 64bit

i used to run GTAIV on this rig:

Q6600 at 2.4ghz

HD4870 512mb

2GB ram

Win XP

 

and was getting OKish results. i could play.

 

then my mobo fried and i had to replace the mobo, ram and memories from 2 1GB sticks to what i have today, but i kept the Hd4870. i also had to reinstall windows so i went with the Win7 64bit version.

i was getting the same FPS i said i am getting.

just a week ago i upgraded the GPU, expecting to see major improvements. i didnt. not at all.

 

i dont know how this is happening. maybe there are extra ENB files in my root folder that slow it down?! i cant tell.

it doesnt matter who's sets im using. all of them crawl. with AA or without. im using patch 1.0.4.0, BTW. latest ATI drivers. GTAIV runs bad on every driver from 11.1 to the latest 11.5 and 11.5 hot fixes.

 

i saw your settings and they look graeton pictures.

what rig do YOU have? what FPS are YOU getting?

can you share the files you are using with me so i can compare results?

pretty please with on top?

 

any ideas on how this can happen?

hmmm, we are getting the same performances yet my GPU is far better. there's gotta be something wrong. wish i could figure out what that is...

 

also, are u getting the same FPS when u load up ENB but turn it off by shift+f12? and are u getting better FPS with ENB OFF when u rename or disable the d3d9.dll?

The idea is that this topic is to seek help on the mod, and so that those posts that seek help are not hidden by people showing the same damn settings off every single time. If you want to show any progress off, use the screenshots topic, then either link to it back here, but don't post the images.

ok, i was wrong a bit.

i get about 22FPs in avarage when d3d9.dll is disabled and 20 fps in avarage when it is enabled but ENB is off.

 

why am i getting 22 fps without ENB??

are there some files that work even without ENB that can hinder performances!?
