guys please give me a link to the cam control mod because we have all that downloaded it or do not work or crash my game

However indeed something has changed because the fan actually starts and the game never starts, though the launch.exe file is in the taskmanager using really few memory. Only is I take the d3d9.dll file from the string of the Proxylibrary in enbsettings.ini the game starts immediately obviously with the intel gpu. Which monitor is the taskbar located on? Do you have more than one monitor? How do you know it's starting on the Intel GPU?

Ok, but wait a second, I don't have multiple monitors, I simply have my laptop (xps 15) with nvidia optimus, that switches between the gt 420m in my laptop and the intel graphics hd of my processor. The thing is that I've set the gta iv launch exe to start with the nvidia GPU, yet after installing ENB mod it starts with the intel integrated graphics. This doesn't happen with other mods because they just replace some files (ilike visualiv and realizmiv) while ENB adds the executable file d3d9.dll, which somehow executes with the intel hd and forces the all game to do so. I haven't seen what the script of the d3d9.dll file actually is, but as an executable file is likely to be causing the problem with the ENB (always starting with intel hd graphics). I hope someone could help me by guiding me on how to change either the enbsettings.ini that controls the d3d9.dll or the d3d9.dll itself in order to make it compatible with the optimus technology and start with the nvidia gpu rather tha the integrated graphics of the processor. Thank you very much.

Oh I see, I thought you had both a desktop and a laptop or some sort of dual monitor setup.

I guess it's in VisualSettings.dat that you can modify that..

I don't remember. But i got rid of this without tweaking ENB.

d3d9.dll is a dynamic link library file required for any 3d application to communicate with directx (and operating system?). You have to know what you're doing and be able to hex edit to get it working.

 

As far as I know, only Boris V. was able to open and edit it. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Just be sure to check your Nvidia Control Panel thoroughly to ensure there isn't a setting for forcing GPU priority.

Revisiting your posting history I noticed alot of amazing shots Chavez. I know I put some harsh words your way once, but I hope I didn't discourage too much because it's good to see your screens up here. You made a mod a while back as well didn't you?

 

It's good that you're having fun IMO. It shows - keep it up. I like to have fun (but in my own noobish personal pursuit of high-realism).

Everyone has been trying to get these. I had a few PM's asking randomly if I had access to them! I had no idea what / who made them. I don't understand why, when forum people express encouragement over someone's set the other person doesn't allow full access? I mean, maybe DKT, DPeasant and the other "Developers" I understand because it may have alot of glitches to work out, or isn't "complete"...but all the tweakers...I think it's childish selfishness. And, you shouldn't have to wait 12 months for a release if you're posting screens every few days. Why not present as "As is. - No Support" ???

Edit: And I've always been a "grass is greener over there" person. His set is nice but...really...the sets out as of May 18th....just as good. So unless he changed everything...don't worry about it. The grass is just green on our side.
