I took the sharpen filter of DKT70, the settings of P1ich3 and mixxed it together with some other settings and at the end tweaked it by myself, I am pretty happy with the results, just see comparison with enb on and enb off. Note that I play on my TV so I have a low resolution (1024*768) so screens can be a litle bit low quali, but on TV ingame it looks really fu**in awesome.

Gah, been stuck on Drizzle weather for nearly a week now, and just can't get tiny details to my liking. Sky is nearly always wrong, stupid bug somewhere in either timecyc.dat, the editors, or perhaps ENB itself. If you set the Direct Color, under the Atmosphere tab, to anything higher than 0, then the shininess on everything goes, on cars, roads, etc...

Also, I'm finding, now and then, that if you put in a number it doesn't like, such as 0.001 - instead of 0.1, then it resets that time setting you were working on. Or at least it's just done it to me.

These were the only pics I liked, didn't like pics from Broker, or in the city.

I took the sharpen filter of DKT70, the settings of P1ich3 and mixxed it together with some other settings and at the end tweaked it by myself, I am pretty happy with the results, just see comparison with enb on and enb off. Note that I play on my TV so I have a low resolution (1024*768) so screens can be a litle bit low quali, but on TV ingame it looks really fu**in awesome.

 

 

On pretty much all of your shots, I actually prefer the non enb version ... looks much more natural. The enb shots all look like they have color and other settings cranked way too high ...

I'm having some problems with my version. When I enable AA, the screen is not downsampled to fit my desired resolution. Instead, I can only see the top left corner of the game.

You might want to lower your offset value by .1, simply because of your resolution. I'm not sure what value was in the files I uploaded, but try editing the effect.txt file & look for line

If it's 0.8, then try 0.7.

 

If it's too sharp, then edit the line

And change 10.0 to something lower like 8.0 or 5.0, adjust to suit. But don't use the combined Hue,Sharpen,Tonemapping file as it's broken.

The lower the resolution, the thicker & less defined the edges are, and the worse the effect comes off. A far better way of sharpening would be either a spatial sharpener, or better still, a motion compensated sharpener thats capable of analysing the last frame, and the current frame and work on the difference, but that works with linear video, not sure about in a videogame.

 

BTW, the effect file with Hue, Sharpen, and Tonemapping, is broken, so stay away from that one for now. While it works, the sharpen and tonemapping doesn't, which is due to the RGB to HSL code. This is proving a bit difficult for my amateur brain, so only Boris would probably be able to fix it.
