Oh okay well now that you mention it, how about you post the screens that you are accusing of ripping your style. I mean, why make a blanket accusation when you can single the f*ckers out directly? And stop being so passive agressive.

Is this all about ANTI ALIASING? Well sh*t. Everyone with less than a $500.00 video card better stay the f*ck out of this thread then. And really, I could run upscaling or real AA and make my shots crisp as mexican joke, but why would I? I'd be running at 4-6 FPS...people should take a look, if you like what you see take the set, tweak it for AA that's good on your system.

 

I thought ENB was about making GTA IV look realistic? Not cartoonish. What's the point of non-realistic ENB? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose when ENB can be made to almost closely resemble parts of reality?

@Everyone

We should be evaluating if the screens we're posting offer something different? And if there is some different we should point out the differences. Otherwise, we should post in the ENB pictures thread. If you have somehting unique, not just a pretty picture, post away!

 

Maybe I was wrong, but I thought my screens (excluding the AA) had something different and unique compared to the sets in dev at this time? AND I thought they looked realistic. Maybe I'm wrong. Tell me so if I am. Also, I was and am seeking help with ENB.

This is beautiful DKT. I hope you'll be able to make it functional in your sets (no bugs). You're development I think gives us all a little inspiration see your progress. One day entire game community will take notice of what you and other dev's are doing here. A little glory should be paid then? You into that? It can be fun at times! smile.gif

Sunny Weathers it's fully functional, but cloudy and rainy weathers are a whole different matter entirely. Infact, at the moment, they look like crap, to keep it blunt. This is why I hate global bloom settings, they cannot be switched off in non-bloomy weathers like cloudy and rainy. I have asked Boris if it's possible to read the timecyc.dat bloom values rather than the enbeffect.fx values, this way one could use the timecyc.dat to switch off bloomy effects when they aren't required.

did you changed that in the timecyc.dat or enbbloom, enbeffect.fx ?

 

a custom enbeffect.fx with parts of 0.79 and 0.82 + some bloom tricks, slightly modified enbbloom.fx, and just settings in the enb ini.

 

I will try and put together a video showing it running, since static screens do not really do it justice.

DKT: Fking bullsh*t! its just freakin awesome, i mean if you get to solve the bugs, then those sets will be the damn revolution to IV, just what R* missed! cant wait to

get them on a public release

PacketOverload: Check some pages back and you'll see whay the rage. I think you'd get annoyed too if your screens get lost in a sh*tdump of pictures of ONE car in ONE location at ONE time OVER and OVER again. Now it's up to the people responsive for that to think about themselves. You, for example, have good shots. It's okay that you're feeling spoken to, but you're not.

 

I already f*cking know how that Pagini Zonda looks with those settings at Laguna Seca look at 12o' clock with Sunny weater, 2 or 3 pictures ought to be enough. Not repetetive posts with only changed cars.

I have put up a video showing those effects from the previous pics.

While they are quite extreme, I hope to tone them down a little in the release.

This video shows Extra Sunny at various times of the day, from 10am to 7pm.

Hey guys,

 

I have two questions. First, what would be the best enb config to use? Should I just download the latest ENB from the enb website and also dl RealismIV/ VisualIV, and that would be all?

 

Also, I installed GTA IV, updated to 1.0.4.0 and put on the latest ENB, but in the game everything was too damn bright and the gamma was too high (the colors were off), how do i fix that?
