AFAIK, steam version cant be downgraded completely. You may want to search extracted patch 1.0.4.0, but i cant help with it. 1.0.0.7 has bugs with ENB(no shadows, skylighting, ssao and some other like detailed mapping). The only way is to download .iso image from some torrents. I guess if you have steam version, downloading will be at least only a half-crime Just download any version and patch it up to 1.0.4.0. i dont have steam myself, we have tonns of those GTA4`s on the dvds in the licensed stores for 17-20$.

also, your res is configured correctly.

ok so im willing to d/l the game down again and reinstall... can i d/l the 1.040 patch and install it without patching 1.0 to 1.02 ect?

and will i be able to then add ur enb and have it look like ur screen shots? or do i then need to make some extra changes?

i also d/l ultimate textures v2

and the dk dude road (not sure where the file goes)

Just keep in mind that its not going to look EXACTLY like their screenshots. Each GFX card processes it differently. It will look very similar, but not EXACT

No stores sell GTA 4 for PC either here in New Zealand. They are not even willing to order it in, because they have taken that game off there database. But funnily enough, there is heaps of GTA:SA's, and they are still ordering those in.

i do understand that... but i have 2 gtx 580s and 24 gigs of ram on i7990 so i'd think mines would look better lol!

d/l game again from steam atm with the 1.040 patch on my HD

the main thing i want is for the building/background to look like the screens..

It looks like they put real pictures in game...i see the player models dont look like the buildings...

the video link i posted the guy says he didnt use any new textures and yet his looks like real life photos..

i will post up screens after the reinstall n patch using D's enb d/l file..

if all goes well i will have that look in game in 3d vision..well worth the 3800+ i wasted on a new pc just to play gta4 looking like D's

I go all settings on max; and it isn't as crisp as your fellas

Its not freaking magic, you cant just have a spell "3-2-1, now your game looks like a photo". Read through the topic, i doubt anyone will waste time explaining all of that stuff. Also, why dont you just actually DOWNLOAD the settings, you even have the links in the video you posted here yourself. Crap, im not even talking about my sig.

i spent all night trying diff enb series n settings...but my game comes no where near the photo realistic as some i seen in ur pics...so i guess i need to know is it all due to the enb?

and if so why does mine not look like urs when i used the same thing as u? do i need to add more mods? do i need higher res in game more AA.

Keep in mind i never used mods for gta4 and the topic is 900+ pages i dont have time to read through all the crap....

not like im asking any 1 to make me a mod just asking how to get mines on par with the rest...

whats the point of showing all the videos n pics if ur only gonna keep the info to urself...

Need 1.0.4.0 or if you're on 1.0.7.0 you're going to have a terrible time getting it to work.

I'm on 1.0.7.0 - I don't recommend it. LOL

Hi, i tried your amazing settings and they are trully awesome. I have a questions though. Im having trouble seeing any clouds during the day ive tried during all hours and i only see the clouds at night time. What am i doing wrong? thanks for sharing your settings.

So how about the dev's (this includes you MasterKontrol) tell us how we can contribute to THEIR liking.

This seems to be a problem throughout most mod communities - modders get sick of noobies. Perhaps there's a certain deligatable corner we can stuff our noses in?

f*ck. Maybe we should just jump in front of a bus.

.....although I do think screens need to be "BEST OF a SET" by each poster, and FFS (lol I can't believe I'm saying this) THUMBNAILS.

ok so i got my gta 4 from steam

patched to 1.070

down the patch to 1.040 with a mod called xliveless

added the tree mod as on ur youtube page, list of all enb i d/l

i tried all those... screen res is 1680x1050

get a error d3d when i try to go higher (3d monitor is on the way to fix that)

Mate get rid of xliveless, it just causes trouble. Download a ASI loader http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showtopic=380830 and you need scripthook. When you download a trainer or such a scripthook should come integrated in your folder with the trainer.

Put in the scripthook which has scripthook - old patches and rename to scripthook.dll

Pro vehicle mod is also very handy as well. - http://www.gtainside.com/en/download.php?d...=25961&orderBy= just copy the trainer.ini file and trainer.asi into your GTA4 directory likewise for the pro vehicle mod (provehicle.ini and provehicle.asi)

For graphics mod try several and just copy them all into your directory, but if they say "common" or any folder copy them into them parts of the folders in that directory.

I'm not sure about how to change into AA graphics, sorry.
