Its not a real ENB series like in GTA San Andreas or something.

This mod only makes the relfections of the cars brigther.. if you go to a car and let your camera stand still, then put it on, off, on, off, .. you can see that only the brightness gets changed.

Yes, when you activate it. When you put the d3d9.dll in the game, it already smoothens the reflections.

Hi Boeis, I want to reoprt something.

AA can be used on an intergrated chip nVidia 9600M GT 512 MB DDR2.

To best is your recommended 800x600 and 4x AA.

The heat of the chip stays the same as always.

Ofcourse the FPS goes down to 9-10FPS.

Not bad for such little 65nm chip tounge.gif

But since that, I didnt used it anymore.

Im waithing for the skylightiing.

That looks damn nice!

Actually, it significantly improves the quality of the reflections themselves. Even when you turn it off with SHIFT+F12, the reflections aren't distorted like they are without ENBSeries. It's impossible to compare the reflections in default GTA IV against GTA IV ENBSeries without quitting the game and removing ENBSeries dll from the game folder and restarting the game.

It is true that ENBSeries was much more noticable with San Andreas, because it added reflections completely from scratch, and made the shadows useful (seriously, what was Rockstar thinking when they put in shadows, then made them so light that you could hardly even see them?).

I tried this out and I have to say I like it, but only for screenshots, sadly. AA splits my FPS in two and the game really struggles. The max resolution I could get out of it was 1440x900, while with reflections I could play with 1680x1050 but again with 40% lower FPS. Sorry, I forgot abut the screenshots, but the game looks nice biggrin.gif It just isn't playable lol

How come this tool hurts performance even if you don't turn it on? With SHIFT+F12 I mean. For me performance is practically the same in both cases.

You wrong, not only intensity of reflections, but it's fade from side to front and specular power and glosiness. The glass of windows also not just tweaking of intensity.

Reflections are gorgeous, great work!

But when I quit the game, Windows tells me that GTA IV has stopped working, giving a BEX problem (buffer overflow?).

I run Vista 64 with Forceware 190.38
