For those that are having problems with the settings not showing up anywhere close "to what they are advertised as:" I can help you a bit:

 

• Find a timecycle you LOVE. DKT's was awesome for me.

• Make sure your ENB installation is working properly.

• Use an ENB Series that has the right amount of reflections, clouds and general color you like.

• Make sure the performance is close to what you like FPS-wise.

• (The second most important step in the whole equation) Use your desktop color settings to tweak the look to what the advertised screenshots look like. Nvidia = Nvidia Control Panel -> Desktop Color Settings

 

You can achieve close to any of the results in this thread once you get a working ENB installation and the amount of reflection you want by adjusting the gamma, brightness and contrast. I'm not sure where the desktop color settings on an ATi setup but find it - then you will win the ENB results you wish.

 

Now only if I could 0.82 working! I'm stuck on 0.78 (not that bad).

Finally merged several weathers into one timecyc(i was using separate timecycs, it was easier to edit weathers this way). Cloudy\drizzle weather are under construction at last.

For me - still Dpeasant3 1.0c2 settings are best. Ive only ported to 0.82 and 1% modified. Credits go to dpeasant3.

I have a question to your "old" v1.0c2 (the latest official):

 

Is it correct that there are no clouds during night no matter what weather you select?

Only during foggy/thunderstorm there are clouds or the sky is not visible at all (fog).

It´s pretty unrealistic to see the stars while it´s raining and the sky seems to be total cloudless.

 

This is probably caused by the timecyc.dat, I guess. I´ve also installed Bone´s effect files (these stormemitter.xml and so on), don´t know what these files affect...

The timecyc file is locked so I won´t bother to go inside but maybe you can take a look. At least look for it in you new setts.

Naja, was willste auch noch rausholen aus dem Game?

Jetzt is aber langsam Schluss, viel besser wird das wohl nicht mehr werden.

GTA5 sieht wahrscheinlicher beschissener aus als GTA4 jetzt. Wetten?

nich ausm Game Aus ENB Ich Weiß Boris hat gute sachen drinne aber irgendwie habsch zur zeit nicht mehr so lust zu spielen GTA IV nur um Kurze Vids Oder Screens zu machen mehr nicht

RAGEQUIT, Installed the game over and over like 30 times, can't get it to patch 1.0.4.0.

Using steam, unchecked the automatically update this game, seems like it skips ahead and downloads it directly to 1.0.70.

 

Who knows how to get patch 1.0.4.0 with steam? Don't you need to patch the game for modding files the old way with that patch version as well?

It's been so long I forget how it's done, modify filelist.pak right? All the old file check fixes for 1.0.4.0 are like obsolete and hard to find, I'm so frustrated -.-
