I don´t know, I had also trouble with some filehosters, then I choose imageshack.us and it works well.

Core i5 760 @ 4GHz

4Gb 1600MHz DDR3

ATI 5770 1GB (950/1300)

 

GTAIV 1.0.4.0 patch

1680x1050 Res

All settings on high

Avg. FPS = 54

 

Who here has a similar system and what ENB settings would be good for my rig?. Any help on this would be awesome!

 

NOTE: I have tried Bones settings and my fps is crap

I had the 5770 before my GTX (GTX much better!)

You got a better CPU so the GPU will be the bottleneck I guess. Better take an NVidia cause this game runs better without ATI.

 

First when using Bone´s great settings disable AntiAliasing! AA will punch every system very hard! I take AA only for caps.

 

But even without AA I think the 5770 is too weak. I never used ENB with the ATI card. The GTX can force it really nice on maximum settings.

Yeah i guess i will have to just stick with DTK70's RealityIV for now...well at least until i ugrade to a 570/580, which i am planning on doing pretty soon.

im no big tech guy but i think that ENB takes away about 10-20 FPSs from the vanilla GTAIV.

if u run GTAIV at 50FPS than i assume u shouldnt drop below the 30 FPS, which is smooth and great.

 

and lets not forget that GTAIV with ENB is probably the ONLY game out there that requires a beasty GPU. every other game can do just fine with a HD4870 512mb like mine.

i have the GPU and there is no game i cant run at 45FPS minimum (besides the poorly coded ones like GTAIV or Arcania).

@Dpeasant, the trees in those shot look really good! Maybe work on the car reflections and up them just slightly. Like in Bone's other wise keep up the good work. Star junction billboards are a bit bloomy though.

Hmm true, well my 5770 OC runs all my games at the highest settings with mosst of them sitting at 60fps constant, i guess its just GTA.

 

I'm looking int the GF560 from nvidia, i definately need an upgrade, its been too long since i bought some new hardware lol.

i'd love to upgrade for GTAIV but while my heart says "do it" my mind says "what a waste of dough".

i've been playing GTAIV since 2008 and it's my favorite game but it's also the only game that doesnt run smooth (with ENB). it's the game i care about the most but no new mods come for it and ppl moved on (only ENB is still active. i know that there will be no game that will require me to upgrade my 4870 until a new generation of consoles come out, so thats YEARS from now. only GTAIV is asking for an upgrade.

your GPU seems to be fine. u won't need an upgrade in the next few years either.

so my heart tells me to get a new GPU so i'll enjoy GTAIV in 30FPS and have fun but my brain says "u've been playing this game for 2.5 years. no new mods. why bother? just for THIS game? save the cash. no other game is asking for an upgrade".

 

right now my brain is winning.

Your version v1.0c2 is only working with 1.0.4.0 (I have 1.0.0.4), right?

I tried it several times but everytime the ingame screen appears the game crash.

 

Should I try the previous version?

Or is all your stuff dedicated to 1.0.4.0?
