Complicated.....

I prefer to edit the parameter "Color power" in [Environment] in the enbseries.ini. This affects all environmental colors.

Rising the paramter means more darker/saturated color.

 

I highly recommend to download/view the whole ENB description from Boris site for any help!

BORIS will you fix the problem that occurs at night, where it randomly becomes slightly brighter and the fps goes down and then it goes back to being dark and normal, but then back to bright and back and forth.....

Core i5 760 @ 4GHz

4Gb 1600MHz DDR3

ATI 5770 1GB (950/1300)

 

GTAIV 1.0.4.0 patch

1680x1050 Res

All settings on high

Avg. FPS = 54

 

Who here has a similar system and what ENB settings would be good for my rig?. Any help on this would be awesome!

 

NOTE: I have tried Bones settings and my fps is crap

I had the 5770 before my GTX (GTX much better!)

You got a better CPU so the GPU will be the bottleneck I guess. Better take an NVidia cause this game runs better without ATI.

 

First when using Bone´s great settings disable AntiAliasing! AA will punch every system very hard! I take AA only for caps.

 

But even without AA I think the 5770 is too weak. I never used ENB with the ATI card. The GTX can force it really nice on maximum settings.

I can't fix bug in the night with perfomance and brightness, it's r* problem. If i turn off shadows from invisible sun, then in some situations (morning, evening or weather conditions) it may be wrong.

I would recommend an NVidia card. Maybe a GTX 580 or what is the actual top-model? I don´t know, I´m pretty out of cash right now...

The game feels running much better and more stable since I assembled my GTX.

 

AND IMPORTANT:

 

The ENB Series Mod has never been developed on ATI cards so there is always a possibility for general failure.

 

Beeing ignored here is normal, the thread grows so fast, it´s hard to get all news!

Maybe wait for the 560 Ti ? Coming in a few weeks, looks like a better 460, for roughly 460 money. 180 tdp is higher than the 460, so hopefully this still runs on a moderate 500-600w 36amp PSU.

I'm running a GTX 465 1Gb at the moment, just testing the card for someone who's PSU wasn't up to the job so I got this until a new one arrives. It's a great card, bloody huge, and requires 2x 6pin connectors, but runs GTAIV with 2xSSAA 2880x1800 better than my GTX260 without AA. I don't think you need the 580, the 570 is a great card, but I personally believe the 560 Ti looks to be aimed at the mid-range enthusiast, hence the Ti marker.
