What would interest me once, do you push all the settings to maximum only to take photos, or can you use these settings and play the game smooth (~ 30 fps)?

 

Was mich mal interessieren würde, schraubt ihr alle Einstellungen auf maximum nur um Fotos machen zu können, oder könnt ihr mit diesen Einstellungen auch noch flüssig (~30 fps) spielen?

most people should be able to play with the settings posted around here, the only thing wich really destroys your FPS is AA. i guess a lot of users post their screenshots with AA enabled, but don't actually play with it.

 

(p.s.: don't post in german, this is an english site, so the mods don't really like it when someone posts in a foreign language )

Excellent shots! I wanted to take some pictures with AA=0, and even though 10-12 FPS wasn't so bad, I had very bad texture pop-ins. I will be posting shots of Snow Mod with AA=1 soon, since I can get 20 FPS, and no texture problems.

I'm guessing the only way to play with AA is to get a better graphic card and processor. I'm playing with AA on two EVGA GTX 460 SLI until I receive my new GTX 580 from (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=7040151&CatId=3669) Thanks for the advice from "TheTomster".

The 580 will be an excellent card. Just be sure to update all your drivers, to get that beast working proper!

 

 

Anyway, here are some snow shots, with AA=1. Very playable actually, wouldn't leave AA on to play the storymode, but it's good to walk around and take pictures! I used airbreak in these shots (SNT).

Ah, well the 570 is still a great option! Better then my overclocked 470, even when it's stock! Should be plenty powerful to run ENB with AA=2 for regular play or even AA=1 for photos.

yea i noticed the ati shots dont look as sharp as nvidia, i shall find out soon enough, hd5750 --->gtx570...upgrade xD

Sharpness rather depends on AA quality and sharpening in effect.txt, but the GTX570 will be a HUGE improvement over the 5750. Get an i7 as well so your CPU wouldn't bottleneck.
