And i know its not 100% Good But.. Thats Becuz its the first texture mod ive done !

loved the dark atmosphere, but the textures is to clean compare to better city texture???make i lil' dirty and its perfect

Yep, still on patch 7 no problems, except : No shadows - Sky changes if i move camara somtimes - No Moon -

 

i'M Still learning texture modding, so im trying figure how to make it not soo clean, But i've been working on it for few hours

the layer i think, DKT importing textures only have 512x512 mip map textures, so sometimes the textures flip when rendering

3. with good settings you have no glitches. texture disapering is a hardware problem. get more vram.

 

I already have 1.7GB with a GTX 295? is this not enough? thoe only other GPU i know that has more is a 5970 with 2GB.

Maybe your system can't handle it, you should stick to your basic graphic.

when the game load a new game (at start - cousins bellig) gta4 close and return to desktop.

If you have xfire, disable xfire in-game for gta iv.

 

Now i figured out that it only uses that resolution on the menu, in game is fine, but un+playable - 2FPS?? OMGWTFBBQ???'??'?'''??

Then turn AA off. You must have a really bad computer man... And it's because double resolution = it needs pretty much double the power. Ever wondered why a game runs great at 800x600 but much worse at 1920x1080? It's the same thing when you double 1920x1080... you lose even more performance.

I have HD5770, Core i5, 4gb ram ddr3 1333mhz, is that so bad?

a 295gtx doesn´t have 1,7gb. it has 896mb vram. do not duplicate the vram when you have SLI or Crossfire.

 

2x 896mb = 1x896mb

2x 2048mb = 1x 2048mb

1x896 + 1x1024 = 1x896mb

 

and so on....

 

this board needs a hardware section.^^ my gta takes 1,4 -1,5 gb vram. i know it from GPU-z logfile

no^^ i have a 285gtx and i cant do it . you need a 470gtx,480gtx,570gtx,580,gtx,5870, or 2x gpus to run this with a native full hd resolution.

 

And its NOT AA. it is downsampling ! it takes more fps than AA.

 

the new amd gpus have MLAA. that works in gta iv

I have i5 750, and i can run the game smoothly without AA but with Scrush's enbseries settings(sortta 30-35fps), but with AA it's kinda 2FPS, is this normal?

 

EDIT: does HD5770 have suport for MLAA? If so, how to enable it?

jep my gpu reached 82 degrees in less than 20 seconds after i switched alt+tab ingame. only crysis and metro can do this too

Easy. Ill pm you the code from that effect, if you need:

Scanlines appera due to the downsampling and downsampling corrupts coordinates for the shader.
