i use Ultimate Texture v2

I've installed that too, but I don't see walls and buildings so realistic as this screen Is there a special config with ENB nessecary for this in order to make this work?

its not the ultimate textures. ultimate textures changes only the STreets.

 

the buildings have the original textures. you need skill to make those pictures -.-

This update will hopefully fix some of the bugs that were present in the initial HDR release, as I have worked on the timecyc quite a bit to make it more consistent. There are some other additions and changes, including a new cloud texture and associated skydome.wtd, better water colors and more realistic bad weather. I didn't go straight to v4 because there are quite a few issues that need to be fixed. (ie. timecyc modifiers and some water/horizon bugs.)

 

Thanks again to DKT70 for the HDR shader and sharpen filter and P1ch3 for the pack's base files. Plus all the people who helped me out in this thread with bug reports and assistance.

Backup everything first before installing. If you've installed my previous version, just copy everything over, replacing all files. Works on patches 1.0.3.0 - 1.0.0.4 Other patches haven't been tested. Please let me know what bugs you find and I'll try to fix them in the final version.

 

If your frame rate is too low, try disabling ambient occlusion. (Shift F10 to toggle or disable permanently in enbseries.ini)

 

Release V3.5 HDR Changes

 

-added custom cloud texture for enbseries (enbclouds.bmp---original file in the "orig files" folder if u don't like it.)

-added a custom skydone.wtd file with slightly altered/filtered texture to soften clouds

-tweaked cloud settings to match the new cloud texture, further soften clouds and adjust overall look

-edited sun and sky settings for more consistancy and to offset the HDR shader's extra lighting

-reduced sun power substantially for cloudy and wet conditions

-changed water color for most times and weather, hopefully reducing the ugly greenish tint, especially in reflections

-adjusted some weather conditions lighting and sky to fix misc bugs

-adjusted taillight colors to hopefully give a fuller red color (not sure about that one 100%)

just so this setting won't get forgotten

I recently got into GTA4 again since I built a new PC and want to play through the game, but I would like to take advantage of my new setup. I have seen some really nice settings, but no downloads. Is there any other thread/site with ENB settings/pics/downloads?

 

I used patch 7 with enb .81 (latest I think), but it looks kind of bland. Is it because .81 is a basic config and not meant to be run with patch 7? Are all of you running Patch 4? I have seen some videos of ppl runing enb with patch 7 on youtube, but no one is sharing the config ... fake?

 

PS: I had an account here, but I forgot the user/pass. If I try to create an account with my email it says theres an account under that name, but I don't remember the user or pass and pass. Recovery is with the username and not with the email. Any ideas? I had to create on with one of my old emails.

I installed GTA4 (retail) followed by patch 1.0.4 and at that point I installed/extracted the mod, but it's crashing as soon as I start the game. Mostly it gets to the first intro screen and crashes the to desktop. Did I skipped a step?

I'm having that same problem. Deleting the Scripthook, ELS, DSound and trainer files fixes the problem, but I would really like to take advantage of Scripthook mods (which I can't right now). I've got .net 4 framework, GTA4 1.0.4.0, all the right files (I think) but it's always crashing after loading (the black screen where it says Loading: ...) But, deleting those files will fix the crashing

 

Also, is there a way to get AA on a smaller resolution? I have a Q6600 @ 2.8Ghz, 4GB DDR2 and a Radeon 4850 512MB and that isn't enough for all the fancy settings. The game is playable without AA, but not with (on a 1440x900 or 1280x800 resolution). Any tips or tricks?

Try the files from my package (install shaders too), just overwrite timecyc.dat, enbseries.ini, visualsettings.dat and enbeffect.fx from Scursh's package. Maybe you need to install filecheckfix.asi, or just turn off anti-aliasing. Open enbseries.ini and set ForceDislaySize= and ForceAntiAliasing= to false. It has to work if properly installed. If nothing else, a different GPU driver version can do wonders.

Mod works good, no problems for me, not bad AA.

 

And its not heavy for the graphic card.

Your PC specs? Anyways my GTA IV laggs A LOT, still, but I test this, with lower settings and then I put a pic here Oh, and I test the fps, with this mod, plus without mods, and the best settings what I can use with my computer! (My PC specs: OS: Windows Vista 32-Bit. CPU: Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT. GPU: AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core 5000+ 2.6GHz)
