Guys, having a bit of a problem with my ENB settings. I've tried everything, including turning adaptation off and this problem persists. It seems my night lighting likes to go bright on certain places in the map, I'd like some people's help to get this remedied before I finish my settings, and start on timecyc/optimization stuff. Here are some screenshots to show the problem. It looks subtle in the pictures, but it's VERY annoying in the game when it happens, because it just flicks on.

 

Screenshot 1: Shows how night SHOULD look.

Screenshot 2: Literally rolled maybe about 3 feet (close to one meter for our Europeans here), and the lights just flick on.

 

Thanks to anyone who can help, this is the only thing that is flawed about my settings to me at the moment. I'll continue to edit them after this is sorted, because it is just so annoying. I'm not even sure if it has to do with ENB, but I never had this problem before so I must have changed something.

 

EDIT: And no, this is not EFLC/TBoGT, it is regular IV, with an imported F 620.

Very nice, but the stars look absolutely terrible. I think most everyone should turn stars off, real NYC doesn't have stars, too many lights, they aren't visible.

You can't even use ENB with 1.0.7.0. And no there is no AA in that patch, and there never will be AA in GTA IV, as I don't even think they're making further patches.

? Your saying you saw AA in one of the patches? I've used every patch there is, GTA IV was made without AA period. The only option we have of AA is the ridiculous performance consuming ENB downsampling method. And that's pretty much all we'll ever have. Trust me, you never saw it, I hate to break it to you.

I need to work on Extra Sunny weather, turned into a VERY blue tint for some reason. Other then that, these settings look great on Patch 4, despite the night bug.

My frames now NEVER drop below 28, before was around 22 min, and it looks better as well. Trust me, the Nvidia AA settings don't work.

Oh, well yeah, +1 to what you said. AA isn't even in the game's code, it was determined that the game would suffer extreme lag (keep in mind the game is from 2008, computers today can handle the game 2 years later, but back then, you'd be lucky if you got 30 FPS with patch 1) if AA was in the game, and it couldn't be done I think at the time when the game was created or something like that. I'm sure the next GTA will feature AA, but IV will NEVER have AA.

Some new shots, re-edited few lines in enb.ini and Put skylighting on and made it not soo dark around the area, Made a new Texture for Gallardo wheeles re made it red but with no White now

Its not your fault, its a bug with the whole enbseries. Timecyclemodifiers interfere with enbseries and disrupt nightlighting. DKT70 and I tried to fix this, but as for me, i didnt really succeed(lighting still "jumps", though a bit less, but it causes other bugs). Perhaps the creator of ENB, Boris, was unaware of this, hopefully next year he will be able to force enb to ignore those timecyclemodifiers. Theres been a discussion several dozen of pages earlier.
