For some cars money has been paid, but the most part all the same leaves in release

the lightsprites on the lambo are not a fake !

i did them. i have now new lightsprites ingame, they look good but i want to make them awesome like xenon or led effect lol.gif

When I try to make this ENB work, the game crashes seconds after the "ENB Series" logo appears in the first loading menu. (Where the text says "Copyright 2009" etc).

 

 

What I did to install:

 

1. Downloaded 0.081 SORA.

2. Downloaded L3EVO(10-17)'s settings.

3. Copied L3EVO's settings over the original 0.081 SORA files.

4. Moved all files into:  C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV

5. Moved visualSettings.dat into: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\common\data

6. Moved timecyc.dat into: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV\pc\data

 

Started game. What am I doing wrong? The game doesn't crash when not using this mod so something is causing it.

Hi Dpeasant, I'm unfortunately having some problems with your configuration files sad.gif. I run patch 5 and with your last pack of settings, I would crash when the game finished loading. Now, a noise filter appears whilst playing the game. Any idea why?

Update: When I switched to a different timecyc (STAN18's), it worked perfectly. So there's either a value or a set of values in your timecyc.dat which is causing the problem. Hmmmmmm sad.gif

Also, I was wondering if it's possible to change the new lightsprite by simply removing the BMP file? It looks really odd at some angles, especially on some of the bridge lights going to the 2nd story island.

gtasadude noise problems are appearing only on patch 5, i dont know why. I use patch 1/0/4/0. Try installing it.

As for the lightsprites, you may delete the spright file and game will be forced to use default ones.

Or this line in the enbseries.ini

 

[LIGHTSPRITE]

UseExternalTexture=true

to

 

[LIGHTSPRITE]

UseExternalTexture=false

mod enb ,the game looks good,but sometime street's lights turn off,what the hell is this ? do you have a problem like me ?

I had that too, try installing FileCheckFix biggrin.gif

Can someone please help get rid of this annoying distant fog / grayness! I can't find the value that controls it. Very annoying, 300 meters ahead and everything starts to turn grey/blue even in clear sunny weather. How can I remove it and get clear sight in distance?

-Bone- Lpf`s tiemcyc is ptrotected from editing in Edit IV, you can only edit it manually, but youll have hard time finding the right values without edit iv, so youll have to play with the fog ph34r.gif

The easiest way to get rid of the fog, without editing its colour is to set fog distance to smth like 3000.

Thx. Well, I tried changing far clip to different values, nothing worked, don't know why. I did try other timecyc and visualsettings but the fog is there too, so I'm thinking maybe it's controlled by one of the ENB files? Shaders? Patch 1.0.4.0 has built-in fog? I can't figure out...

Enbeffect has only universal values, so the fog wouldnt change its colour. If its blue, it will be blue always, even at night,
