Just a heads up, the new ATI drivers introduces MLAA (Morphological Anti-Aliasing) for the new 6000 series, but it's been hacked to work with 5000 series aswell. And apparently it's working great in GTA IV, and there's hardly a performance hit! Here is a screenshot with MLAA (not taken by me)

Where the hell is nvidia with its mlaa I gotta throw my gtx275 into the window, im just tired of playing with SSAA, barely getting 20-23 fps.

very nice enb settings, even though it is perfectly clear you put the picture through photoshop or w/e, the giveaway is that the 2dfx lights corona texture is not a starburst as it is above the gas pump in your picture.

Gforce, m8, you just dont seem to have enb itself activated. Lpf`s screens arent shopped, i know this. As you can see in my screens, there are light coronas too, and they can be seen only with ENB activated. And you dont have them.

my game starts with the enb logo splashed all over the intro screens so i'd say enb is running just fine, and i am using the exact files included in his download link.

now given i have been researching the 2dfx lights in map wdr's recently i happen to know that when it comes to talking about corona textures you're quite clearly talking out of your arse, the corona texture name is contained within the wdr's as a hash number which decodes to the word "corona" and given that enb does not supply a replacement coronas.wtd including a starburst texture it's impossible to be any different to the game original which can be clearly seen in my screenshot and the screenshot below.

a closer look at the prices on the gas station and the picture on the red billboard shows my screen is a lot clearer which means to me that a blur effect has also been applied to smooth out the jaggies due to a lack of anti-aliasing in IV.

i dare you to try explaining that lens flare as ingame original enb effect ?

obviously another Photoshop faker in this thread attempting to fool the masses.

Your an idiot. B/c i have coronnas in my game too. are you going to say mine are photoshopped too. You dont have their exact settings and files. Tweak lighting in enb. and you will get them.

It would look better if you set textures to medium (AT LEAST). Also, try enabling AA.

"Medium" huh... Texture quality settings doesn't work for me.. In short, texture quality is always low, even if texture quality in the graphics settings is set to high...

Hello

I just have downloaded the L3evo(10-17) settings for my ENBSeries 0.081 SORA and installed Better city Textures and i don't understand why i don't have the same graphics (or close graphics)

I play in 1920*1080, everything in high (except quality filter textures and resolution reflexions), i have 45FPS average.

My graphics are so dark, to much contrast ... how can i fix this and have like the screenshot ?

Moreover PhilIV, Can you share your settings ? Because they look like L3evo(10-17) settings.

some ppl create their own textures like cloud textures and some make spritelight textures which in some ppls settings. they are not just using enb settings. they create their own other settings and textures to go along with it. also like custom stars too. Sorry if was harsh but if you tried dl other ppls settings you would realize there is more files than just enb. some actually use other textures they made themselves.

Also i want to add but in my earlier posts with my pics which are way back probably far enough where you didnt see. but i clearly stated i use realizmIV texture mod. which is like 4 gigs file of a total overhaul of games content. and u need patch 1.0.4.0 well i mean it makes it like that patch.

maybe you guys posting screenshots should make it clear to everyone who comes into this topic what mods you have installed when posting, this topic is all about enb and fancy screenshots with extensive modded texture files can be misleading to anyone installing enb with anyone else's settings especially when they're unable to replicate the same results

either that or change the topic rules to just posting screenshots of custom enb settings on a basic GTA-IV install, then people don't get misled or confused.

If you read earlier in posts it is repeatedly stated what they have installed for files. and dl their settings usually also adds their files they used too...

Can someone make a mod like "force high quality textures"? Because Texture quality settings doesn't work for me.. In a more understandable way, texture quality is always low, even if texture quality in the graphics settings is set to high...

GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City are more or less two seperate games, episodes from liberty are the expansion packs, not the original GTA IV which is what everyone else is using

yes i know it's an expansion pack and kind of separate game hehe... so, i'm playing the wrong version then.. if i wanna be like u guys here... i should play the original? but i like the mission in Episode from liberty City... with my motorcycle gank hahaha

hmm..well, is hould try install again the original GTA IV... thx man

(i still hope there are proper enbseries or mods for Episode from Liberty City though ...)

yes i realise that now and i forgot to edit out that post.

lets face it though, most people are treating this topic like a picture post topic with just screenshots and nothing in regards to the settings tweaks or the texture mods used to warrant posting pictures, so anybody who decides to quickly browse this topic can be under the impression that the screenshots actually represent what enb is capable of on a basic IV install, when the truth is it takes a lot more than just enb to get these results.

I clearly see that you dont know a sh*t about ENB. Enb overrides games textures and more than tha, if you werent so iron-headed you would see that in enbseries.ini:

RaysLength=ISNT THAT f*ckING OBVIOUS?

And, oh, the logo runs EVEN IF ENB IS DEACTIVATED. I see that you arent even capable of pressing shift+f12 to activate the program.

And thank you for calling me cheap faker, i appreciate that. Ive been modding enb for 5 or 6 months, and now some wise-ass tells me that im a faker.

PS Blur effect is the effect of the bloom and DOF, which you dont have, bacuase you dont have the f*cking enb activated. Is it freaking clear now?!

That's true, I fully agree with u, my apologizes not to have already mentionned before posting screenshots

Here's my settings :

-GTA IV with 1.0.4.0 patch

-High Quality textures mod (gtxd.img)

-RealismIV 6.2

-enb series 0.79 SORA with enbeffect modified for DOF (setting in that forum, thanks to lpf312 & L3evo), effect.txt Tone Mapping Shader from DKT70, enbseries tweaked by me.

I'll upload my settings, except the DKT70's effect file as I don't want to share w/o it's permission.

You should uninstall Better City textures and also disable real-time duration in trainer, if you have it turned on.

Better City textures are too damn dark to play with most enb settings, except if you edit them yourself to match those black roads.

PS Ill Probably do like Chavez, and share settings only through pm, at least for now, as some members of the community really make you want to stop visiting forums.
