As far as i can see, there is no enb activated, or you have original post-process turned on.

edit. No, youre running GTA 4 without enb ph34r.gif

I stated that im not running enb. and everytime i try to use it it goes nuts on the nights and everything. where lighting is way out of hand. So is it possible to get those blur settings without ENB? b/c im having trouble trying to use enb and everytime i do my fps drops insanely and i want it around 20 fps. Like i mentioned I am using RealizmIV 6.2 Mod. Which has its own graphics and shaders. So can you help me out. I can seem to figure out how to do a good lighting balance and such without massive hit on fps. if i use enb depending on the settings i get fps drop to about around 6 to 10 avg.

Does anybody know why when "ForceAntialiasing" in the [ENGINE] section is set to "true"(it is false by default) and the screen resolution goes nut?

 

Normally I run 1980x1020 but when it is "true" my resolution jump to 3960x2040, or even 5940x3060 and with that kind of resolution, it doesn't display properly on my monitor! Only 1/4 of the game screen is displayed lol

Well, gt240 isnt the best thing to try enb on, especially the latest releases from modders here.

You can have Dof, though, but you have to search not-enb related topics, as i dont know anything on how to increase it not through enb.

As for the blur, try these settings(open visualsettings.dat and replace values there):

 

# cam.followped.blur.beta 0 30.0 0.00 5cam.followped.blur.beta.x	0.445  	cam.followped.blur.beta.y	0.05  	cam.followped.blur.beta.z	0.06  	cam.followped.blur.beta.w	0.04  cam.followped.blur.damage.time	500  	cam.followped.blur.damage.attacktime	0.1  	cam.followped.blur.damage.decaytime	0.3  	cam.followped.blur.cap	0.3

 

I randomly edited them at first, but then decreased a lot, as it was impossible to play without getting a headache.

You need to edit these lines to increase/decrease motion blur while walking:

 

cam.followped.blur.beta.x	0.445  	cam.followped.blur.beta.y	0.05  	cam.followped.blur.beta.z	0.06  	cam.followped.blur.beta.w	0.04

Well, the realityIV based timecyc is almost ready, ive added all rainy weathers from my own timecyc.

The second, older timecyc, which ive posted in august, is in worse shape, but ive started to work on it again recently(its more colourfull and shiny):

ignore it. once you are ingame, everything will be normal.

I dont even know where is the "start" menu button, do you really move the mouse widely and guess where the start is? lol

Thanks. smile.gif Happy you like it! I'm still working on improving the settings and the timecyc especially to work out the bugs. Hopefully a new version will be finished soon. Actually I have been playing with your ini file recently. Went back to mine to start working on a new package, but I like the atmosphere.

 

Here are some shots of a new cloud texture I'm working on. Just testing really, to try and get a softer, fuller cloud look. Opinions?

What is your Vehicle BLur set too? From the recent pics I love that blur i havent got that in my game.

Okay I figured out how to get DOF and Blur into game without ENB. But for those using ENB gotta have definition to off ingame menu. Here are screenshots of what i was able to come up with. I found some1 settings from ultimate graphics tweak mod. which only edits shaders and visual.dat files. Also im using Shaders from RealizmIV 6.2 mod...

Just found the big bug I'd been trying to fix in my timecyc. I remember reading somewhere that the vaue for "exposure" in Edit IV isn't used by ENB, but actually it is. Maybe everyone knows all this and I'm the last one to find out, but here is a value to tweak for anyone else having weird/sudden brightness changes during gameplay. smile.gif

the clouds @ pic 4 look great, too... pic 1: clouds too purple

Thanks for the feedback. smile.gif Maybe I can change some of the cloud colors during sunrise and sunset to make them more realistic.

No need to quote the whole post, man.

Im using the standard enbeffect from version 0079, afaik, with some additions by me and dkt70(taken from his hdr shader and edited to fit enbeffect)but as you can see, im experimenting, so itll just ruin your game and make it extremely dark. Ill release with my timecyc, this week for sure, as i wont have any spare time later at all.

@ Depeasant3: Thanks again for your help yesterday regarding DOF and blur stuff. I did exactly as you instructed and saw no noticable difference at all. I played around with a few values in the enbeffect.fx file that I though might change things but again saw no difference. I noticed you implied that the ENB post-proc might need to be enabled for it to work (which sounds like that makes sense) but once I enabled this (I normally have original post-proc) I still didn't see any difference, and then got totally side-tracked into editing enb.ini and timecycle to compensate for different rendering process! I'll go back to the DOF thing later in the week.

 

 

Below are a few "end-of-day" pics of my ENB + timecycle experiments - just fancied playing around with it with the slight intention of creating realistic, but perhaps slightly "artistic" settings. The first 3 images are non-ENB post-proc based, the other images are full ENB tests with colour scheme tests (rather major blue tint first, then changed to more of a creamy colour). If anyone wishes to provide any comments or suggestions for direction I'd love to hear a little feedback (but just remember that these pics are from just 2 evenings work)! Also, if anyone's bothered, the link at the bottom of this post is for the full resolution (inconverted) .bmp versions.
