du hast auf gtainside mal deine settings geupt. gar nicht so alt. die benutze ich gerade. waren dort hdr shader drin?

auch wenn ers versteht solletst du englisch sprechen!

ich weis das er deutsch kann^^

 

die frage hat sich aber erledigt weil ich gerade nachgeschaut hab. in dem setting waren keine shader dabei also wayne

jup.. da hatte ich noch keine HDR, und shaderfiles drinne

also ich bin in DE geboren... lebte dort 14 jahre lang und seit 4 jahren bin ich in PL weil meine ganze familie hier wohnt..

joa und englisch lerne ich seit der grundschule.. englisch finde ich cool. also lerne ich es jeden tag.

zurzeit gehe ich in eine deutsch/polnische klasse wo ich 6 std. in der woche deutsch unterricht habe.. und nach der schule sowie zu hause spreche ich ja polnisch, war ja klar.

mal ab und zu spreche ich mit meiner mama deutsch..aber wirklich sehr selten

ah das erklärts mit den sprachen hat seine vorteile.

 

zum foto, es sah nur sehr sehr realistisch aus mit der explosion und dem kaputten wagen, daher dachte ich das. kannst mir viellecht die mods sagen? das is echt ne krasse explosion

need help with enbseries, i got a decent computer ( quad core 2.6, ati radeon hd4870 1gb, 4 gb ram, win7 x64), game runs very smooth around 40 fps

when i put the enbseries d3d9.dll file into gta iv folder, even with enbseries off, the frame rate drops to 20 fps, unplayable, i have also updated to latest drivers directx etc.

i bought a graphic card few weeks ago, on my old 9600gso graphic card enbseries worked fine , i didn't experinece such fps drop... please help

Maybe your setting is too high, higher than your pc can handle.

Normally ENB is automatically turn on but u can turn on/off manually by pressing Shift+F12

mindofmike settings V3.1 HDR using ENB .79 SORA with P1ch3's old settings pack as my initial base. HDR version thanks to the great work of DKT70 for makiing the HDR Shader that is included. Credits go out to DKT70, P1ch3 and all the others who helped me, or whose files are included in this pack.

 

Edit: This pack is compatible with patches 1.0.3.0 - 1.0.5.0 only. For best results use patch 1.0.4.0. Other patches will probably not work very well. This pack includes shaders that are not compatible with newer patches, so make sure you backup your files first if you do try.

This is really not a perfect HDR version for a lot of reasons, the main one is that I haven't done much to the timecyc. Just tweaked it a bit to try and keep the sun consistant (still working on that) and adjusted direct lighting during really bright times. I added the HDR shader, tweaked the settings of enbeffect.fx, lowered the sharpness a bit, and altered enbseries.ini to fix lighting, clouds, etc. It's not perfect as I said, and there WILL be bugs but it will be good enough for now while I rework the timecyc and update some package files. Plus I notice that many people are using my settings with another timecyc anyway. Be warned that if you are using another timecyc, you may have to tweak enbeffect.fx (and/or enbseries.ini) to achieve correct brightness and color.

 

Release V3.1 HDR Changes

 

-added HDR shader, thanks to DKT70

-tweaked enbeffect.fx quite a bit to even out the lighting

-tweaked enbseries.ini for lighting, adaption, color and sky fixes

-changed timecyc slightly to fix direct lighting strength and color for some weather

-adjusted clouds in timecyc during most conditions because the HDR shader makes them all look a little strange (still not perfect, still working on clouds and sun)

-no more blue sky during cloudy weather

 

 

What card you using when took those screenshots? And how did you manage to get such good aa?

I got 3.1 on default settings but get no such aa on my ati card

I don't use AA at all with GTA because it kills my FPS when ambient occlusion is enabled. I will upload a full size gallery later so there is no misunderstanding.

What is a top rig for your config ? 4Ghz Six-Core, 6GB Ram and a HD5970 ? I have a 4Ghz Quad, 4GB Ram and a GTX 260, maybe too low ?

I am running an AMD Phenom II x4 965 @3.4 ghz and a gtx 275 896mb with 4 gig and windows 7 x32. vosszaa enabled skylighting and make a few tweaks to give a bit more atmosphere to the game. With my 3.1 settings and using his enbseries.ini I get approx 23-30 FPS on average, but it lowers during sunrise, sunset and rainy weather to something like 20-25...these are really rough guesses. Taken from watching fraps during normal gameplay.

 

I am running GTA with:

 

high textures

high shadows

high reflections

shadow density 0

view distance 32

detail distance 65

vehicle density 25

 

If you have a decent quad core CPU and a newer Graphics card with more than 512mb (current or previous generation) you should be able to get similar results. If you get low FPS try turning down or lowering some settings..

 

Here are a few other suggestions for tweaking.

 

enbseries.ini:

 

1. Turn off Ambient Occlusion ( EnableAmbientOcclusion=false )

2. Turn off Sky Lighting ( EnableSkyLighting=false )

3. Lower Shadow filtering ( [sHADOW] FilterQuality=2 )

 

in game options:

 

1. Make sure your settings aren't using too much video memory. Try and keep close to the limit of your video card.

2. Lowering detail distance, shadow and traffic density can make big differences.

3. Turn on/off V-sync (actually in some weird situations turning vsync on can raise FPS in GTA IV. Had that experience with my old 8800gt, but no idea why...)

 

dubious tweaks:

 

If you are using windows xp,vista,7 x32, there is a /3gb tweak that can let your windows take advantage of more system memory if you have 3-4 gb memory. Seemed to help on my computer making GTA a bit smoother with less pop up textures. Google for it. (lots of warnings with the 3 gb memory tweak, though. It can cause other problems, so I would only try that after fully researching the possible consequences.)

There is no need to turn off AO. You can just decrease its quality, and itll run fine even with AA.
