Hi im new here and new to modding as well.

 

I'm currently on 1.0.4.0 with ENB 0.80 SORA and I am trying to set everything by myself but it is still not look as good as you guys (especially Chavez)

I have i7 980X, 12GB DDR3 Ram and GTX480 on SLI

If anybody can tell me what is the best ENB config for my system that would be very very appreciated. Thank you

in some cases the looks of the screenshots and the game itself is not just modifying the ENB files. it's changing shaders or the timecyc file as well.

Yes, I follow that guide but still cant make it look as good as the one that Chavez did. I think he did something more than edit .ini file. The thing is he doesnt wanna share his work

Forgot to said what ive changed during my spare time: changed bloom colour(just need to balance its amount a bit) from bluish to more reddish/yellowish to match timecyc. Also reworked colour filtering and added some stuff to effect.txt(perhaps i will add another colour filter there, if ill manage to implement the needed code there, as im no programmer ).

Nah, theyre not final. Ive yet to make night settings equal for all weathers(currently sunny has decent night, yet sunny-windy is much darker, and all rainy weathers are bright as if night=20pm). More than that modified timecyclemodifiers will not be included, cause theyre just not finished.

And I repeat, I use edited Reality 4 v1.1 timecyc, so If Dkt70 will be against it, i will not release anything

Its a game bug, you can only fix it by changing the model of that streetlamp, or by messing with lamppost.ide, wich contains enormous amount of unknown values(ive managed to edit it to change lamp light colour from very yellow to more whitish to match my settings. I will experiment further, but its very hard and i dont have enough time).

And no, im not ready to release them, cause i didnt have enough time for editing. I will have spare time only on Sunday and Saturday evening, unfortunately.

 

Dpeasant3, thanks for your help in the past, but I've got one more question. I've been trying to change the ugly streetlight color forever and just noticed your post about lamppost.ide. Mind telling me what values affect streetlight color? I tried playing with that file in the past, but could never seen any difference in light color.

Looks like it didnt work. It was only the effect of the colourfilter, but not .ide file. I changed every value, that couldve meant colour, but it didnt change at all. I even changed all those 255,255,255 values to blue colour(in rgb values) but no effect. I hate this yellow street lights, it wastes all the picture.

This is the value i copied and paste all over. Didnt work.

To Dpeasant3: I rly like your settings, but the only thing i miss is the blue sky with white clouds, ang the orange sunset with that yellowish effect on roads, buildings, etc. It'd be awesome if you could include these.

He was (and for me IS still) one of the best guys who did a great job in changing the Gta 4 graphic !

Always when he did sth new he released it.. and I did the same.

I've sent my configs via PM, ICQ or email and

At gtainside.com I released the files which i used ingame.

U wanted them.. and suddenly i got very f*cking annoying comments !

 

So now shut the f*ck up and do that stuff alone !

I dont have to make setts for everyone of u guys !

 

I will not release anything cuz i dont want to get lots of spam sh*t like it was some weeks ago when i released my patch.

Chavez, you made yourself a reputation like that, dont blame anyone for yourown mistakes, and if you dnt want to post then be a bitch, and continue selling your self... and dont post here. also dont tell me i cant make my own, if i want i can, i made my own, but i dont show it, and brag about it, and also about Boris, we are good friends and we made the first enb together, so i wouldent say anything.
