In him settings ForceAntialiasing = false. And yet if I had to 16x. The ENB AA sucks, unlike those photos.

 

Can you post the settings to get that images ingame?

i dont use AA. this is resizing, the good model of the car and the camera view.

 

in this picture i used vadya´s settings with better city textures, alpha bleding i think an my vegetation files.

i have a problem with the ENB in patch 1.0.0.4

 

every 3-4 seconds the game hang for less then a 1/4 second.

Here is my edited enbeffect.fx for 0.81 version. It based on original enbeffect.fx and some code from Boris's effect.txt for Oblivion.

I haven't tested it on other settings, so it may work improperly. tounge2.gif

Ok now, here are the cathedral shots(its buggy, maybe i can decrease lighting there through timecyclemodifiers, but i doubt it.), also ive found a lot of bugs when i played the game in real-time(before that ive played with real-time duration in the trainer) and im fixing them. Ill release them this week for sure, even with bugs, just for the sake of testing. Dont have much time for them, im now very busy (school-teacher on practice. History and social studies tounge2.gif )

You have to unlock the game to use modified files. Filecheckfix or something like that. Depends on your game version.

That error is something you cannot get rid of, unless you downgrade to 1.0.4.0.

The new shaders you replaced the originals with, are not supported by 1.0.6.0/1.0.7.0.

I think that there is a way to make it work on 1006 patch, check it here

But if you want to have all enb effects you will have to use 1.0.4.0 patch. so you will have to reinstall the game. confused.gif

And then you will need the following:

FileCheckFix and, maybe, xliveless. Unfortunately the local search engine is disabled, so youll have to google them, or use yahoo.

No.

You have to reinstall the game and update to 1.0.4.0.

 

You can also play it on 1.0.6.0 (Which I do) with somehow limited effects.

Even though the 1.0.6.0 have limited effects, I'm still addicted to the nice graphics you get from it!

I used notepad++ for editing, but am not aware of any special tools, unfortunately. They have somewhat similar structure with timecyc, but there are many unknown numbers there.

An interesting thing: setting light sprite size in timecyc to anything lower than 1.0 will make them dissappear completely. confused.gif Even to 0.9. And if i set them to 1.1 they will be just too big. A pity, i cant get the needed effect. And there is also this bug with these smaller streetlights:

Thanks for the response, I'm gonna try editing the modifiers, but it seems a bit daunting. Probably the only way to get consistent lighting throughout the map, though.

 

Yeah, I've noticed that with some lights, the sprites are positioned incorrectly in my game, too. Not just streetlights, some bridge lighting and even a few of the lights on buildings have the same problem. Must be a problem with the light locations within the maps themselves. Too bad it can't be easily fixed. Also, I found that headlight rays are visible from certain angles that they shouldn't be; for example looking side on at a car. I didn't use rays in the past for exactly those reasons. Plus, I could never get them looking just right; when I got one set of lights looking good, other types would turn to sh!t.

I can make one in photoshop, but i dont know what filename it should have.

edit: these: enbspritelight.png, enbspritelight.bmp, enbspriteray.png, enbspriteray.bmp. Ill mess with them, then.

edit2. I dont know how i should make them. should i paint them in the alpha-channel? Or just as a simple texture, right in the rgb channel?

No, im not. If it wasnt for DKT and gp65cj04, i couldnt achieve anything. I use some parts of their .fx files, dof, for example.

nice test, depeasant. i think they are a bit too opaque. the should start the gradient closer to the middle so the lights wont be AS opaque in most of the sphere and turn transparent only at the last 30% of the circle.... (damn, its hard to express what i mean in text). but they do look good. it looks much MUCH better than the sprites that sit a feet AWAY from the light source like in so many cases with ENB settings.

p.s. - yeah , your screens look da bomb. just like everyone said. although night looks tremendeously dark in your shots. so dark it might be unplayable. i know there is some sort of night brightness in the enbsettings.ini but if im not mistaking it creates a sharp transfer from day to night that doesnt look like a gradual change from evening to night or from night to dawn.

 

either way - looking good. i hope u can release whatever it is you are working on. im sure i will be able to nit-pick and find other things u might wanna change tounge2.gif im fun like that.

Mindofmike, you and STAN18 have released the only good, consistent settings on this forum in my opinion, they just look outstanding! I'd say DKT's are cool too, but his night settings aren't complete and there's some weird pastey look to the distance in those settings. Other settings like lpf312's are way over-contrasted/dark and only look good at one weather setting, or there's packages which are just way over-sharpened and annoyingly bad. I hope you make a HDR version someday Mike, awesome job smile.gif. Dpeasent, your settings are shaping up to be amazing too, well done!

Imo its now decent. Some cheap photoshop on those lightsprite textures and its done. Opacity is due to the enb tendency to make bright things brighter(adaptation). Cant fight it, as decreasing adaptation will ruin the daytime.
