I don't have the patience to open and close GTA4 another 10 times...

Unless you set CyclicConfigReading to false (it is true by default), the new ENBSeries will actually scan the ini file every 5 seconds to see if you've updated it, so there's no need to open and close GTA4 over and over.

I'm loving all the possible configurations we now have! With a bit of help and patience we can all further change the way our game looks to suit our own personal tastes.

 

For me, I'd just like to lighten up the shadows and tone down the bloom, then it'd be perfect to me biggrin.gif How would I do this?

 

I'd also just like to tell you my favourite change ENB makes and that is the trees! They look 10000 times better now!

for the problem of overbrighting, i change the value of "forceminmaxvalues=true" to "false" in [ADAPTATION] section.hope it works for you.

This does help, but the framerate drops even lower...

I'm wondering how to remove the reflection in Windshield only.

I don't know wicht line modify in enbseries.ini to remove this effect.

YOu have to reduce the ChromePower to 1 to remove the shine on the windshield

 

ChromePower is in the Reflection properties

Sweet jesus, I guess the Environment Mod conflicts with this because my game is horribly bright. It's like staring straight into the sun. And I can't figure out how to fix it!

The same here. When it comes to lightning and enviroment in overall my gta looks fine with the newest version, but the sky is completely white. I disabled bloom, tryed modifying some parametrs but nothing helps.

Anyone telling me what F10 dis/enables? At night (while raining?) I see a fixed image of buildings or similar as street reflection (fixed, does not change while driving/cam move). Disabling XXX via Shift+F10 makes it disappear, but I can't figure out which setting it is, and that keybla.txt is not really a big help since its just a bunch of keys in hex.

 

Besides that, it is a very great improvement and does not really affect gameplay in matter of loosing FPS on my GTS 250 smile.gif

I used Robi's Ini file and guess what it fixed my bloom problem and the new one is really nice

 

EDIT: I now know why its causing the bloom problem dont copy enbeffect.fx thats causing the problem devil.gif

Nah, you should have read the previous post, too. And hey, I am familiar with ENB since beginning, I would have cut of that reflections it those were reflections wink.gif

 

The image on the floor appears, when I focus on e.g. the building seen there, then move the cam to focus the street. The building appears as that ghost image. I have set EnableAmbientOcclusion=false now (Shift+F10), but I don't wanna set it always on/off just when daytime changes. This seems to apear only at night time.

 

Another issue: I miss a bit reflections when its rainy, night.

 

Any ideas? Thx in advance.

why is it that thew vehicle looks very dark, when there is no sunlight..it looks veryunrelastic and chromy.

 

also...the reflections are not noticable in the night..rain

I have to say, i'd never heard of ENBSeries until recently, but respect for an awesome mod, while i have my issues with it (damn, are cars meant to be that shiny, especially in the dark?!) overall it makes GTA IV look a damned sight better than before, cheers Boris!

hey boris man you have some awsome skills and i know you do some amazing stuff but i think you should'nt have rushed this out so quickly i would have been patient and im sure alot of other people would have, dont take this the wrong way bro you know you do awsome work. but this to me is just so mucked up lol i cant explaine lol shift + f12 gives me an atmosphere of the sun lol

Mk after playing around i can't seem to fix 2 issues i'm having, any help?

1. The car reflections are absolutely shiny as anything, even in darkness which isn't the most realistic ever

2. it looks like near daylight 90% of the time - bright as hell, nothing really changes until about 8-9pm.

 

i have no idea what graphics mod i'm using, i really don't remember, its either GTA Env 5 or Visual IV, one of the two, but the whole brightness thing just makes it nearly unbareable to play, and the reflections on some cars make you wonder if they're made entirely of chrome!

 

edit: and there some very slight mouse lag
