Its shame.. This mod going to trash for new gta 4 versions.. Boris wont support this mod anymore.

This is best of mod in world.. Too shame.

Well according to a post that P1ch3 posted a while back, Boris will be creating a new version for EFLC so that most likely means patch 6 support also. He said he was having hardware issues or something along those lines, so we'll have to wait.

Ans I think that for a rainy weather cars look a bit too bloomy [but I think it could come from the fact that it's just a picture]

Blue fog isn't realistic on just a plain rainy day at noon, perhaps in torrential rain in the afternoon. And I can tell you there isn't much bloom in those pics, the cars are simply reflecting the bright sky, as they would in real life.

Your right, blueish distant fog wouldn't look right and for the bloom on the cars I don't see non other then that the shots are perfect to me.

Took a spin in me M3 with my current Cloudy set. This weather set has had some reworking recently, but still needs further attention - I'm still going for the miserable look but am experimenting with how much light to push into the scene regardless. I also need to learn how to edit cars now so can customise individual reflection amounts. Many thanks are to be given to DKT70 for helping me with artistic / realistic visual opinions and direction. I didn't really want to post pics for a mod that I may not finish, but thought what the hell, I'll share them anyway.

 

Pics have been resized to half of original size which has made them look rather rubbish. I've put the 1920x1080 originals into one download link (for conveinces sake) at end of post, and I'd also recommend full-screen viewing for best effect.

Largestyle, much better, definitely much better, You've captured exactly what you wanted there. I would possibly, maybe darken the sky a tiny bit - just to show a few grey clouds, but that will always be your own decision.

Thanks, and yeah, I am much happier with this now. I know exactly what you mean about the sky though - it's too light and lacking in detail for my liking also and it's the main thing which needs improvement, but if for whatever reason I can't manage to darken the sky and add better clouding while retaining and compensating for the other lighting effects then it'll stay as is now. Will tackle that another time.

How do you find this config? It's designed for the normal timecyc.dat. Just a normal IV game without any mods. Still heavily WIP, it's a bit dull. I don't like it.
