I get the same result.. way to bright and if I turn the weather to extra sunny my screen just goes black (only thing left I can see is the radar mercie_blink.gif )

 

using patch 1.0.0.4 and 1.0.0.4 shaders, all other settings from DKT (running win7 x64 with gtx295)

 

When you first get in-game, you have to press shift-F12 twice, to turn ENB off then on. What you describe sounds like ENB isn't even on, because thats what I get if I turn ENB off. Are you sure you are replacing ALL the files ?

That looks like the grain filter from Boris, and I'm not even using that in my files.

Now IMO on some pictures there are too much blue on the sky, in my view the maximum blue in reality is no more than what on the top of the following picture

 

You see, thats where I disagree, but then if we all had the same generic sky blue then whats the point of modding ? wink.gif

Don't let any rules stop you from doing what YOU want, as there are NO rules. Extra Sunny 1 & 2 can be as blue as you want them, infact I'm gonig to use Extra Sunny 2 to do sme mad things, such as a storm-on-the-horizon look, and a cold winters day blue sky look.

Very true DKT! icon14.gif And thx for the timecyc help, I couldn't add clouds to extrasunny but removed the distance greyness of sunny and it's ok!

 

- version update for my settings! -

 

To anyone who likes my settings, I made 2 important changes: I managed to get a clear view distance for sunny weather which should be called "partly cloudy" as you will see on my shots, and I added some day and night brightness as I guess some found things a bit too dark. Feel free to comment and thanks to everyone for the files I'm tweaking!

I downloaded the latest version (0.78) and I'm getting a weird problem that only happens with the ENB files in the GTAIV folder.

No matter if I set the 'ForceResolution' value to true or false, the game runs at 2880x1800, exactly double my screen resolution. As a result, only the top left of the actual game is shown on-screen, and I can't change the resolution ingame.

Any help?

If you want clouds in Extra Sunny, in EditIV goto the 'Other Parametres' and lower the value of "Unknown 14" to something like 0.100, and that should give you a lot of clouds, up the value to suit your own tastes.

I simply removed Sky Bottom Color (changed to black) of the timecyc I use. Clouds settings were the same for sunny and extra sunny.

sorry for that question but what parameters i have to change to disable the DOF effect or set it farer away so that the main pic is Sharp and the far away things are blured??and wich parameter is for the motion Blur??

Do you know of any other parameters that can increase the number of clouds? I don't have very many clouds in my Sunny weather compared to the screenshots in this thread, so I tried turning Unknown 14 down to 0.000. The clouds look bigger, but there are still only 5 or 6 clouds in the whole sky.

 

Edit: Never mind, I removed my enbclouds.bmp and the sky became full of clouds.

For sure, users do not expect to wait in game few days for full moon, trainers will not work anyway, because there is no timer for this parameter. At this moment moon lighting is per night cycle, so at 2 am it's about full moon. Also i'm stuck with method of rotation it around something, don't want to hide it under the Earth. Right now it is positioned to shadow matrix of the sun. Damn decisions, i hate this!

I agree that moon phase lighting would be awesome, but if it's too much trouble I would still be 100% satisfied with just a full moon every night. In my opinion that would be preferable to having a phase cycle every night.

I'm not too sure, but with Boris' method you have one texture that is stitched together across the skydome, and various settings break up the texture to form separate clouds, the setting 14 I think just produces less breakup, not more clouds. Boris could probably post a better reply.

There are other methods as well, such as the DeDensity options, higher numbers less density, the sky brightness can, at times, also produce less or more clouds, more brightness often = less clouds, but can also work the reverse as the time gets later.

i remembered GTA IV had a calendar. i don't know. months > weeks?

 

You people also have trouble with night and day? I have a very nice day, but at night the world is WAY too bright. It's like a night-blueish color, only 1000 times more intense. lights by cars and lampposts also are blinding.

 

Is it me, or does ENB work else on every PC?

@Dragozool Can i ask how you got rid of that noise/sharpen on the car? Looks great!

 

Some new from me using DKT70's Shaders, Effects.txt and Illusion_IV's timecyc, visualsetting's and enbseries.ini (modified).

New version released. I can't decide any more how better to rotate the moon and it's phases. In reflections it's not visible, when i tried it, quality of reflection texture is so bad, that better to hide moon at all. And it works only if shadows quality is medium, high or very high. With external programmable shaders you may create moving clouds from camera position... a lot of.
