Thanks for bug notification, it's fixed.

i don't have the sky in the night like on you picture, the brighten mine is this:

so it's a problem in you timecyc or other kind of user mods. Also there are two parameters for stars.

The sky color is not changed if parameters in enbseries.ini are set to valid values, i never did anything to sky colors directly and without possibility to restore original. These values restore original sky color:

AzimuthHeight=1.0

AzimuthMultiplier=1.0

TopColorMultiplier=1.0

ColorSaturation=0.0

ColorPower=1.0

I'm not supporting other timecyc except default one, it's the main reason i hate the idea to release this mod and especially clouds, i knew it will not work with user modified timecyc because of wrong values in timecyc. I will not do any other sky version, volumetric clouds from early pictures of the sky will be used in other project and will never be released for enbseries.

 

TO ALL:

I'm using 1.0.4.0 patch for development, it support previous shaders from 1.0.3.0, but not tested on them and perhaps bug fixes for lights in 1.0.4.0 will produce bugs in 1.0.3.0.

As usual, I'm looking for the most realistic look possible. Nothing too cartoonish or overly saturated. This may be a little too toned down, but I still like it. ENB is just ... amazing. There are times I am playing the game and I just start laughing, it looks so beautiful now. By the way--new ENB works just fine with ForceMinMax set to off, to enable modded shaders ...

For some reason ENB just stopped working for me. One day it looks beautifull, and the next day it crashes my game. When I take the d3d9.dll out of my GTA folder everything works, so it's with ENB. And this happens with all ENB versions.

I have Steam version so 1.0.0.4 (patch 5) version of the game. I have used Steams "veify integrity of game cache" so I have all original files.

I waht my GTA to look awesome

 

I have 64 bit Windows 7 ultimate and if hardware matters:

Asus p7p55d mobo

core i5 750 @ 3,79GHz

4GB RAM

HD 5850

so i think it's something with the sky reflection..

Wait, stupid question, but is ENB turned on? (Shift+F12). Also, I suspect a mod or a mistake regarding FBI. Did you replace it's model or texture or use one of the police mods? Other cars look fine, but he FBI seems to miss something, it looks unrelated to visual files.

 

You sure you put everything in place, also the shaders I suggested? If ENB is indeed turned on, you should get better clouds. I'm using patch 1.0.3 by the way.

When i start Gta IV then is see ENB SERIES.. so i think its on,

I use the realistic driving and flying mod, Better city textures, ENB and an other skin for the PGJ-900..

but i use the d3d9.dll of ENB 0.077b because when i put the new 1 in, it give an error that he cant find the d3d9.dll

i don't know if that can be the problem..? which shaders do u mean ??

and use patch 1.0.0.4. here

ALT + TAB works fine, it's just after a few hours of doing this I occasionally lose light for 20-30 seconds, but I suspect it's just resources getting low and a exit from the game and reload fixes this.

Dkt70 when your done reinstalling the game make a backup off the game folder so in future if you need to reinstall all you have to do is delete the game folder then copy paste from the backup you made. It avoids the painful reinstall..

 

Also if your getting a message saying to reinstall the game when you launch GTA 4 often it's because of a file that was replaced like timecyc or effect.txt. I got that a few times when replacing 1 of these 2 files and to avoid reinstalling I just replace the file I changed and problem solved.

from experience living in nyc, you NEVER see stars in the sky, theres a scientific reason that im too lazy to google right now, it has to do with radiation from the lights on in the city

How can I fix this problem I'm having when I set:

ForceMinMaxValues=true

 

and if I configure to false I get this when I change the time to 6am

 

and if I press F12 it corrects the problem I think

 

@DKT70 I noticed this norning the lighting problem you mentioned last night about lighting turning off for some reason,

Did you find a solution to that problem?
