Sorry for stupid question, but how can I increase the shadow more dark in timecyc.dat ? Or by other mean, which value in timecyc.dat control the shadow ? notify.gif

FXAA is not working for me. Is that because i have ForceAntialiasing=false? Anyway if i change to True it crashes the game.

There is a way to use FXAA with ANY game which works under dx9. You should decrease number of passes to one(yeah, thats bad really, but still) - just delete the corresponding lines - and use old enb .dll for GTA SA or Burnout. Turn off all effects in enbseries.ini and youre ready to go. At least FXAA worked for The Guild 2 for me. Unfortunately, older enb versions doesnt support multiple passes needed for full FXAA.

For example. Im using oblvion .dll for mafia 2. One pass-fxaa.

FXAA off:

By using this for gta youll get vanilla graphics + low-quality FXAA. Youd get full quality, if older enbs could support multi-passes.

PS ENB works almost for ANY game. Example: ive changed Fable 3 colours completely(from dull, pale to more sunny-like atmoshpere, aiming for fable 1-like colours) + fake AA over default game AA:

As far as I know SSAA (AA=True) and FXAA doesn´t support each other. You have to choose between the one or the other.

By using both my textures gets extreme blurry, using FXAA is like using low quality SSAA (like 1280*1024/AA=2) without a frame drop, that´s the impressive thing.

Can somebody post a ENB file with all effects off EXCEPT FFXA (not regular AA because I cannot run the game at 2x my resolution of 1680x1050).

 

I honest to god just want something like 2 or 4x AA and nothing else. I have no idea what 90% of the options in ENB are so i cant do it myself or I might mess everything up.

Copy and paste that into your ENBEffect.fx

 

Start GTA IV + ENB Series. Disable all stuff in the ini. Should work out pretty well, but if you want Dpeasant3 his settings with FXAA v3, just say it, I have a working enbeffect.fx somehow.

I'm willing to give Dpeasant3 with FXAA a try so if you could post it, i would be very grateful

 

I also tried to "disable" everything but the game was either super white... or super dark... and i couldn't get it to look normal.

And i have some sort of bug. Sometimes when im taking a ride the screen turns brighter and it decreases my framerate like 10 fps less. But if come back the screen come back to normal and my fps too.

As you can see i moved the car a few meters front and that "bug" disapeared. And if i move back the car to where it was it happens again,

I noticed in some sets the specular values will make it through, but the reflections are turned to a matte in direct sunlight. Do any of the pro's know exactly why that is? In the black_d sets in my sig, in direct sunlight rims and reflections reacted exactly the same as in the shadow, or during "Cloudy."

That's great to hear! So practically all games using DirectX9 are able to get FXAA with d3d9.dll and enbeffect.fx?

Effect.txt. Ill upload test setts a bit later. They need to be reconfigured, as they change colours a bit.
