Posts like that make me think that certain people should have sex now and then! I highly doubt it's even close to acceptable to call people cowards for their behaviour in a video game! Sometimes people do that in the beginning of races too. How do you set up your turns to prevent something like that? Do you go wide so you can hit the corner at a higher rate of speed or do brake early so that the person trying to do that overshoots and ends up in a wall or something? I'll show you if you want... Thats what he means by corner shooting. That really annoys me. When in auto-aim matches, and not piloting the Annihilator for whatever reason, I usually use cover. What I do is aim at the guy's head, then pop out, shoot then pop back into cover again. But that fails most of the time due to fact that the enemies can shoot through the f*cking wall. YoungJoe94 Posted July 22, 2009 Share Posted July 22, 2009 speaking mainly with regards to team deathmatch: everyone has played someone like this before... first off they will never attack anyone, they never come out in the open or give you a fair shot at killing them. they sit behind a wall and wait for you to approach so they can lock on you (with auto-aim allowed) this is why I stopped playing auto-aim games. with good people it becomes a game of wait-behind-the-wall for people to approach so you can lock on to them while in cover. if auto-aim is disallowed they will wait behind the wall and corner shot you so you have no chance at killing them. it's one thing if you do these tactics once or twice a game, but when they become all that you do, I define them as b*tch tactics and will simply not play with people who do this. I don't think these that's it's even up for debate if these are cheap however there are some more tactics that people use that are borderline. first is, running for the rocket launcher no matter where you are on the map. it's one thing to get it if it's close to you, but there are people who when playing disallow will ALWAYS have a rocket launcher. Another is people who simply won't attack you, ever. They will sit and wait from behind a tree or behind the corner of a building and no matter what they simply will not move. of course they're going to kill you when you're forced to attack them. this can get especially frustrating when playing someone one on one and with no rocket launcher or grenades there is nothing you can do about it. everyone will do these things a little just by playing normally... however it's one thing to do these a few times, it's another to make a habit out of doing these and make yourself appear better than you actually are cause you're good at playing like a b*tch. what do you guys think? are these tactics fair because you're able to do them and it's not actually cheating or are they foul because well, they're just annoying? Don't hate the gate keeper because you ran face first into the gate. Also I have the feeling overall I could probably out kill most of these whiners using there own style just more intelligently. Or just run down a sidestreet and kill someone else. Sniping isn't bitch tactics... I use it if the person is running away from me, which a lot of people annoyingly do.
