Slamman 130
Don't know of any really, since the music I like most is uplifting, and like going to Church! A Spiritual affair.

RedBull FM 939
This is probably the most depressing song to listen to. Every damn 5 seconds theres someone making a horrible sound.
Krul 26
This is by far the saddest song I've ever heard and the video does nothing to lighten the mood.

Aaron030792 517
Simple Minds - 'Soul Crying Out'. Not a very pleasant song. Very dark and gloomy. Johnny Cash 'Hurt'.......that was played at my dad's funeral back in 2006. To this day, I still burst into tears when I hear that song.

a20characterusername 2,512
Saint Vitus - Petra (Patra) For me it'd be The Psychopath. Hell 90% of their songs are shotgun mouthwash encouragement. Speaking of shotgun mouthwash, listening to Nirvana today in particular is a tad depressing. One of my favorite Saint Vitus records. Another sad song: Candlemass - Tot
a20characterusername 2,512
^ Likewise. I'm gonna go ahead and assume you're a fan of Electric Wizard too. Yeah, it's one of my favorites as well. I like how each song is a bit slower than the last, lends a lot to the album's almost tangible atmosphere. Giles Flaggot 1 38
^ Yup! Old school doom especially. I loved what Scott Reagers did withVitus, but Scott Weinrich is the king of doom voices - the guy has the voice of a dragon LOL!

Audiophile 1,699
So many....this isn't even my final feel. I would say, to me, this is one of the most depressing songs I know. It gets me every time. This one always gets to me, ever since the first time I heard it. It's really a great song. "Precious" by Depeche Mode. Lawd this song..."Wherever You Will Go" by The Calling: "The Dolphin's Cry" by Live: "See You on the Other Side" by Ozzy Osbourne: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eb5S_-USqOs A lot of Seether songs but I guess I will pick this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c0v64zMu78U "Torn to Pieces" by Pop Evil "I sit here in misery, wondering if I'll ever be half the man you wanted me to be". Lately, this one always hits me deep. "Found Out About You" by the Gin Blossoms. The chorus gets me every time "and you give yourself away...and you give....and you give...". "With our Without You" by U2 These two Oasis songs, "Wonderwall" and "Little by Little": And of course "Hurt" covered by Johnny Cash, "What have I become, my sweetest friend? Everyone I know, goes away in the end": This is a pretty relatable Staind song: "Nutshell" by Alice in Chains: Jeff Buckley's version of Hallelujah: And tons more but I will stop otherwise I will just go on and on listing songs. If it wasn't obvious by now, it should be, I am a depressive c*nt. But I hope that some of these songs are considered "good" by others here despite that. I have a pretty eclectic taste in music. I listen to everything as long as it sounds good to me. I could go on listing songs from Journey, Metallica, so on and so forth. Edited May 6, 2014 by Audiophile
OmegaEvolution 365
Not just a sad song but one the most beautiful songs ever written. About the passing of time and death. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iY9qUDkTgHk

Audiophile 1,699
This is pretty sad, to me. "I close my eyes only for a moment and the moment's gone." "Just a drop of water in an endless sea. All we do crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see." Edited May 9, 2014 by Audiophile
