canesknights
Here's how I would like to see it go: I'd like to see it be a continuation of the San Andreas storyline, mixing in with the Vice City storyline as well. Year: 1993/1994 Protagonist: Cesar (from San Andreas) Story: After the events of San Andreas, things are going well for CJ and his crew, but then they start to get pressure from the Leone Family. Ken Rosenberg mentions that he used to work for someone in Vice City that was able to take on the Forelli Family and succeeded in defeating them. CJ asks Ken to call him up so that they can talk to him about how he did it, but Ken informs them that Tommy no longer answers his calls. So they decide that someone has to go down to Vice City and talk to Tommy personally. Cesar volunteers, because he's always wanted to go to Vice City, plus it will give him a chance to scope out locations for a possible honeymoon (he's now engaged to CJ's sister, which also means that the stupid girlfriend thing will not be in this game.) Naturally, Tommy doesn't want to talk to Cesar when he gets to Vice City, because he doesn't know who he is, so Cesar has to establish a name for himself. As Cesar starts to make a name for himself, Tommy finally talks to him, and he starts doing jobs for Tommy, to gain his trust. Once he finally gets on Tommy's good side, Tommy agrees to go back to Las Venturas with Cesar, to help them deal with the Leone family (plus, Tommy wants to expand his operation to San Andreas by taking Caligula's from the Leone's.) There's a mission where Cesar, Tommy, and CJ all work together (bringing together 3 GTA protagonists, the current one and the 2 best ones from previous games, in one mission.) The game culminates in a showdown with Salvatore's men (obviously, Salvatore wouldn't be involved, because he's still alive in GTA III, which takes place in 1998.) However, Cesar, CJ, and Tommy manage to defeat the Leone Family, and take over Caligulas. I'd like to see them bring back the good stuff from San Andreas, like the various skills. Leave out the girlfriend crap (Cesar is engaged, so it fits with the story.) Bring back the helicopter controls from Vice City (San Andreas' were crappy, not sure which one IV was like.) IMO, Cesar would be an awesome character to play as, especially when he makes comments in his accent.
foohy
GTAIII cannon is over...finished...complete. Ceaser, CJ, Tommy, and everyone else do not exist in GTAIV cannon. Much like how III's Liberty City does not exist.

Tyla
The story was alright, very imaginative. I couldn't see it being a game, for various reasons, but nice work on the story. As a fan of the GTA III canon, I liked it.
Benjimino234
Yeah we all like the GTA protagonists, and it would be cool if they were together but yeah it can be all jumbled and messy. But a man can dream though, a man and dream... (Yeah I know this is a sarcasm emoticon but it resembles just looking up and dreaming, no offense to your idea. I think it's pretty cool.) canesknights
It seems like every poll I've ever seen about favorite protagonists usually has either Tommy or CJ at the top. Most often it's Tommy, but I've seen some that had CJ in 1st. So getting to do a mission with both of them would be pretty awesome. Maybe this wouldn't be a IV-era game, but a San Andreas Stories type of game.
Rucke
I liked the story but you didn't have a antagonist. An antagonist is the "bad guy" in the story that usually is killed at the end. You mentioned that Salvatore won't make an appearance, so why don't make one of his associates the antagonist? Make one up yourself.
canesknights
Salvatore would be the main antagonist, but you wouldn't kill him. You would kill off his #2, #3, and #4 guys, and he would make the escape back to Liberty, with his tail between his legs. This would leave Cesar, CJ, and Tommy in charge of Las Venturas. But then you should at least create some bad blood between Cesar and Salvatore's #2, 3 and 4 guys. Maybe one of them has killed a close friend of Cesar, and Cesar is now looking for revange.
