Jetpack goes crazy glitch

(I hope nobody really has posted this, I used the search function and found nothing like this, okay!)

First get a jetpack (or spawn it: PS2 Up Down Left Right L1 L2 R1 R2 Up Down Left Right, PC ROCKETMAN) and fly over Restricted Area`s SAM sites. If you will fly higher, the better. Anyways, when your health will drop down to zero, CJ will still be alive and the health bar will flash, but the deal is that the jetpack starts to go crazy, flyes in different locations quickly and descends, but you can`t controll it. When you will hit the ground the jetpack will dissappear, CJ will fall down on the ground and the

WASTED message will appear.

This thing is known from ages btw.... Yeah its 100% that when CJ will die you are dead and thus you can't control Jetpack and ultimately dead but congrats on that you founded it

If something is WELL KNOWN and we don't know about it is isn't.

 

All the Old stuff should be deleted. There's too many New People that arn't going to read through four or more years of old topics, and the SEARCH engine, while it can be useful, really isn't that good on raw searchs.

lil weasel: Are you saying that just because you and nerner dont know about a feature, then it is not well known?

 

It is definitely a well known feature, more especially to people who use the jetpack a lot, or just play the game enough.

 

@Wipzy: It is not a glitch. Merely a feature. When CJ has been hit and killed while in the air, some damage must've been done to the jetpack, and it is just acting up and going everywhere.

Its becasue CJ is "dead" when on the jetpack, so since CJ isn't controlling it like he is supposed to, it goes crazy.

 

Think of it this way. Kill some one driving, they loose control of the wheel, car goes crazy.

I guess you`re right about that. I just used the search function which is located at the bottom of the page. It just made 15 pages and that`s all .

When you die flying jetpack, type the cheat for healing and money (I am anti-cheating but I didn't use it in a mission). You will regain control of the jetpack, but when you reach the ground, CJ will fall and die.

actually i found another way to get the uncontrollable jetpack glitch??

 

it was during a 2player mode with my cuzon, we helped each other out iwth the cheats, i did the helicopter and he did the jetpacks..

 

well we were in san fierro on top of that building with a big hole in da middle..kinda like a square but no inside...

 

well anyways...i got on the jetpack and he went in the helicopter he started spinning his blades and i just flew into his rotating blades and i went flying and fell in the hole in da middle of the building, and i was in a corner and then i couldnt control the jetpack at all! i wasnt dead and i didnt descend at all, it was wierd so we had to restart the game..good thing i saved it...but it was still wierd!!
