When i was doing the mission where you chase Bucky to his buddies hideout, I pulled up behind Bucky and they all started shooting at me, before i even got out of the car a police cruiser pulled up, two cops got out and started returning fire. I sat there watching as more police and then a helicopter turned up and they started piling inside and finished the mission for me, without me ever getting out of the car! It was like watching an episode of COPS! LOL

I did that same in same way but i went inside the house with the cops.. Cops killed the bad folks but then i attained 2 stars automatically after that mission and i ran out of the backdoor and hopped in Bucky's car and drove away with red health lol

Once, I was going to go shopping to the Russian clothes shop, so I buyed some glasses and went away. On sidewalk, there was a guy, smoking, looking like some totally-badass-russian-gangsta, so I punched him. But then, some gangsters come from nowhere and start shooting at me. So I rush back to the store and hide. They were about seven or eight, all shooting at me. Pistols, maybe a shotgun. But near the shop is a police station, so three cops start shooting at them, using the little colourful boxes (dunno how they're called) as cover. They didn't pay any attention at the time, so I called another police car through 911. After a while, there arrived two more cops, so it was 8 vs. 5. Cops aren't good in shootouts, and the first three died soon. There were about four gangsters left. I thought the cops will die, and the gangsters win, but then another police cruiser came and they drive over the gangsters, which were on road. I was totally looking like WTF and then start laughing. The rest of gangsters that survived the "accident" were shooted so soon, they couldn't even get up. Unfortunately, I set the Clip Capture to off, because then I get about two FPS boost, dunno why.

My English is not very good, but I hope you can understand me what I'm writing about.

once i was drivivng a cop car around and then i saw a cop chasing someone on the street. i decided to fallow them and when the cop caught him he put him in the back of my car as if it was a cop car that drove up. So i drove away with them in it and then i got a single star..

I got in a shootout with the russians, got a star, and I quickly used the lower wanted level cheat, and I was sitting ther for atleast 20 minutes watching as police car after police car arrived and had a shootout with the high powered weapon weilding russians. Eventually a police Heli came, started shooting them, and even NOOSE came with that Helicopter that I can't spell lmao.

 

It lasted another 10 minutes and the NOOSE were getting the job done until one of them gets in a car and drives off. They follow him, shooting at his car, with me following behind. I thought soon the F.B.I would come (since that's never happened before) but then finally the car swerved off the freeway, landed upside down and the guy died.

 

20-30 russians were involved, 30-50 cops were involved and 2 NOOSE Enforcers of S.W.A.T team members were involved. Only one NOOSE guy died.

 

It was EPIC.

I had a cop help me on the first part of Truck Hustle the mission for Phil Bell! It was funny because I though he was there to chase me for no reason.

i had just came out from comrades with packie. and these russians started to beat us up but because we were drunk we couldn't fight back luckily enough two patrol cars stopped outside and the russians got arrested. otherwise it would have spoiled the mission

Was doing the drug missions for LJ. Hopped over a wall and picked up the package, ah crap ambushed by a gang. Had a nice shootout behind a building and noticed 2 round the corner of the house, took 1 down with a swift headshot, couldn't see the other but heard shooting. Walked round the corner with a shotgun and theres 2 cops out their car distracting the last guy. Bang, shotgun blast to the back and the guy slumps over the wall. No star

Planning on using them and Dwaynes back up for all the vigilante missions. Should be fun.

I also do that all the time

 

Try to do that to gang cars, and find a cop, they usually start gun fight.

They didn't really help, but it's a funny story:

 

So, everytime I've played the mission Payback I always seem to get into a police chase. Possibly because that is the way the missions unfolds, so I tried a different path this last time. After chasing the car through Alderney, we arrive at the car showroom. I pull my car to a stop from across the showroom and hop out. "You got nowhere to run buddy!" one of the bad guys yells out and all hell starts to break out. I take cover from behind my car as the bullets wizz by. While I'm taking a moment to figure out what to do next, I see a patrol man crouching next to me.

 

Now, the first bullet I fire will not only draw the bad guys ire, but also the police. So, I pull out the trusty cell phone and call 911. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed like forever for the backup to arrive. During this time, both me and the cop are hiding from the rain of lead hitting the vehicle. Common sense would tell you to shoot the cop, then handle all the bad guys, but I'm handling it differently. Other that the missions the you have to shoot the police (like 3 leaf clover) I've tried to avoid any collateral damage. No cop killing for me on this mission. So, I take out one of my remaining nades, and toss it into the middle of the parking lot.

 

That little action brings down the law. Instead of protecting me, Officer Friendly starts to blast me with his 9mm. About that time the entire Alderney state police show up, possibly from my 911 call. Ignoring the bad guys, the police focus on me. About that time the grenade went off, causing a cascade of explosions. Luckally this took out a majority of the bad guys, so I decide to run for it. And by run for it I mean into the exploding cars. I only have one more guy to kill but the police think I'm the A-hole, well I did blow up about 15 cars, but I digress...

 

I duck into the lobby/sales area inside the car room. The police are shooting me from outside, and mobsters are shooting me from inside. About that time one of the cars that was on fire explodes, sending the last bad guy flying through the air like Jordan. The mission is complete, but I still need to escape the wanted level. Isn't that why I called 911 in the first place, oh well. Taking a short moment I hide from the remaining cars that are still exploding, and wait for a lull in fire from the police. At the right moment I run for the nearest car that isn't on fire. For some reason I get in on the passenger's side and almost die from sliding over and starting the car.

 

Somehow I escaped, but that was an epic mission for me, even if the cops didn't really help.

i love lcpd. its not their fault that they shoot at you for fighting a crime .

 

e time i was in a cop car and i went on the computer. it said " gang activity on ellery st in willis, dukes. so i went there and as soon as i arrived, a ginormous gang starts shooting at me. im used to this, but then grenades are starting to fly thru the air. im like wtf! at this point i still havent fired one bullet bc i was in cover behind my car which did not explode surprisingly, and then i hear sirens. i turn around and i see 4 or 5 cop cars skid and a bunch of cops arrive to the scene and just bombard the gang. it lasted about 7 minutes.it was truly amazing, no wanted stars at all either. it seriously looked legit. that i why i love the LCPD.

I tried usign the police in the mission Potrait of a killer. but it wasnt a fair fight. the russian had ak 47 while the police had pistols, about 20 police men died that day. and all not a single russian was killed until i hurled a few grenades into the parking lot.

I was restarting my story and on the mission "It's Your Call". I slammed into a wall (I may or may not have been drunk) and the Albanians were getting closer. They shot me once but then a cop car rammed into the side of them and trapped them on a wall, allowing me to swerve back home.

Well the police dont help me too much, but one day someone was punching me, a cop came and arrest him, then I spawned a FIB car, and the officer took the criminal into the FIB car, and start driving it away like it was simple police car. I can say we helped each other.

Generally, the cops are witnessed as "Stooges" and "Zubs" by us GTA players, they can get frustrating when you get stars, and they do get annoying when they kill/arrest you.

 

But SOMETIMES they can end up helping you out. Use this as an example [this happened to me earlier]

 

I walked down the steps that lead to the subway, and I was bored. I saw three guys standing at the bottom talking. I had about a dozen Molotovs with me. I havent used a molotov recently, so I lobbed one at them. THey died from burning, and I continued walking down the stairs with other peds runninng away screaming. When I reached a bottom, some Mexican/Spanish guy pulled out a pistol and started to shoot at me, right infront of a cop holding an M16. The cop immediately shot the Mexican dude for me, and I got no wanted stars at all. Thus that cop saved the day.

 

Anything like this happen to anyone?

Whoa you killed 3 people with a molotov and got away with it? You lucky bastard, I cant throw a molotov at nothing without getting a star or two .

 

But I just love making the police have gunfights. , Works well in area with member of the M.O.B or the russian mafia in hove beach.

My friend was doing that mission where you have to drive the kidnapped girl while being chased by 2 cars as they shoot at you. Well as he was going around the corner of an intersection he passed a Police Patrol, and as we drove away we heard:

 

*whoop whoop* "Pull over you maniac!"

 

And much to our surprise, as we took the turn to the next street, both cars actually vanished from the radar around the intersection. Did those mobsters actually surrender? Were they all shot down by the LCPD?

 

We don't know, but it was pretty awesome.

I was in the middle of a police rampage on about 3 or 4 stars and was surrounded by police cars. I heard a police maverick passing over. They tend to fly over you quickly on arrival, this is the important part... as I heard it I changed from my sniper to RPG in an instant and just shot upwards almost like it was reflex. I took down the helicopter in one shot in the most dramatic fashion possible, it came down at full speed into a pile of police cars about 20 metres in front of me and pretty much killed everthing. I jumped on my black NRG-900 and put my black helmet on and drove through all the flaming wreckage like it was a Michael Bay movie.

 

The police maverick helped me escape and jizz in my pants.

 

This is unrelated but that very same night I went to the bike shop to get a NRG and shot the windows through because I couldn't be bothered to walk through the door. I went to get on a bike and some ped just emptyed a tec-9 magazine into me point blank and I never even saw them, I didn't look on death-cam because I was so shocked. I love how random GTA is, it was so unexpected, I probably did deserve it though.

I regularly hang around the location of Niko's first safehouse, getting into fist fights with the Russians and whatnot, once I pull out a pistol I peg it. Usually there are police around, they always get into huge fights. As half of the Ruskies have shotguns, it takes longer for the fight to finish because they seem to decide to shoot from such long distances.

Sometimes when I m jacking cars, the victims try to get that car back, but then comes the police, arresting them for taking back their own car, and I got no stars.

 

Once in triangle club, security attacked on me, I ran out, saw two cops, the police attacked on the security guy, and he had a firearm, the police called backup, and I watched next to them, pretty nice.

 

But the best one was, when I messed up with one lady, she attacked on me, I was on low health, I saw police in front of us, so I ran in front of him, and she came right after me, behind the cop. Then she tried to punch me, but hit on the cop, and that punch was pretty nice. I laughed

My first playthrough of the game, the second mission, after "Cousins Bellic", where Roman goes to the hardware store to gamble, I was heading to the taxi depot for the mission and started sprinting, knocking this guy over who turns around, pulls out a shotgun, at which point I am absolutely terrified since I don't have anything but my fists when a cop car pulls over, 2 cops get out and open fire.

As if I didn't think that was cool enough, 2 more Russians get out a car and another pedestrian opens fire. Another cop car happens to be coming down the road and this massive shootout commences. Eventually all that was left was one cop who got in their car and drove off. Obviously, I started that mission with tons of pistol ammo, quite a lot of shotty ammo and 1 clip for my Uzi.

The game was relatively easy for a while: Doden with a knife, shot through a window, Jamaicans with pistols, mowed down with my Uzi.etc. That is what truly made me agree that GTA IV is the best game of all time.

Cops help me alot. Mostly when I do police missions, I get behind my car when I do "Gang Activity" and call 911(1) so the cops and the gangsters get into a big shootout. I keep doing so until the gangster are all done. It's fun, except when it's a high class gang and they got grenades. Then I'm screwed.

 

I remember one time, playing on the normal version of GTA, I went to do a "Gang Activity" and I went to call backup. I did, I ended up getting 2 cars, and the 4 cops total took down 12 gangsters with mixed snipers, assault rifles, bats, and glocks. Then because of all this, a tough guy security guard thought he was going to interfere. The cops wrecked him. They each fired 1 round and he was already down. Then 3 of them got back in their cars. 1 car (which had 2 cops) drove off and the other one waited, the 4th cop kept firing until he killed the security guard. Then he got in the car and they drove away. The security guard was loaded with cash too.

 

The cops in gta are amazing.

In Brucies mission "Easy as can be" you have an easy way to get the guys out of you. Run over peds till cops are on your tail, and then loose them. The Lyle bodyguards will just stop, or gett pulled behind by cops. So then just drive the car back to Brucie's. Actually, went there without the top getting off, that means easy.
