Aussiebushmatt
If we don't already have set pilots, I'd like to have a go at that EDIT: f*ck, if I didn't have to have dinner during the start, I wouldn't have been disconnected and therefore not be able to join again. Sorry, maybe next time boys Edited July 19, 2009 by Aussiebushmatt

Booze
Well today's A/G wars weren't as good as last week's. Not enough people showed up, so I had to invite some outsiders, of which some didn't really play along. The Alderney location wasn't a success, as the ground troops got smashed. The f*cking about of some of the outsiders didn't help either... We played Bohan after that and it was another win for the pilots. After that, the GT morale was so low that people just left... I think we should play the Algonquin round no matter what, as that's where the GT's have won in the past. Then we can experiment with other locations. We don't want the fight to become one-sided. As for you guys not being able to connect to each other... have you checked if your NAT is strict or moderate? If it's open, you should be able to connect. Try this site: www.portforward.com

Try this site: www.portforward.com Yes, his NAT is set to Mod or Strict (I think it's strict) but the problem is he doesn't know how to get into his router, not that he can't change it... Sellars: I honestly don't mind splitting the matches with you. BTW If you can get to your router's login try:\ Username: Admin Password: Admin Worked for me...as it does for all Livebox's
Booze
Yeah that's what that guide says, too... It's pretty elaborate... Just make sure that after you've selected the correct router/firewall, you select "XBOX360 Grand Theft Auto IV".
•Rapidoh
So uh yeah, I'll be in for this since I'm always feeling bad about never putting my Live to good use. Just a heads up though, I'm usually busy on Sunday's until late at night so it might be better if we arranged them other days too. Welcome, •Rapidoh! Please accept the friend request that is headed your way with lightning speed from the PilotsMustDie account! (sorry, got a bit creative there ) Right now, Sunday is the day that seems to work best for most people, but we might be able to plan a second match on another day of the week. It looks like we're gonna have enough people for two matches, anyway. Okay well I accepted the friend request hopefully should be able to play in a couple Sunday's time depending on what I'm doing. YoungJoe94
Acutally it´s not just GTA IV we can´t get into, it´s all games. And when you get into your router Sellars, look for an option that says ´Firewal´or ´NAT´, that´s were you can change it to Open or Mod (Mind you, Open means your Firewall is completely off for online, I tink! I tink! I tink!) Now if y´all excuse me...I´m about to sit down to a Hamburger here in some british pub here in Majorca

And when you get into your router Sellars, look for an option that says ´Firewal´or ´NAT´, that´s were you can change it to Open or Mod (Mind you, Open means your Firewall is completely off for online, I tink! I tink! I tink!) Well, some games are more difficult than others. There's also "Xbos Live 360", which lists two ports to forward. Then there's the aforementioned "XBOX360 Grand Theft Auto IV" which lists the same two ports + 3 additional ones. I'd imagine that other games require some other ports... I don't think you can just go into your router and change it to "open" or "mod"... The only thing that I know of is bypassing the firewall altogether, a.k.a. putting an IP address in the "DMZ". This means that you can connect to anyone, but it also means that your machine is vulnerable to hackers and stuff. I actually played GTA IV with this for quite some time without trouble, but I wouldn't advice it, especially not if you have your credit card info stored on your hard drive! Some online services just require you to open (or "forward") some ports, like described in the guides from portforward.com. First you need to setup a static IP address for your Xbox, they also have a guide for that. Then you need to go to your router as described in the guides and enter the ports for that IP address.
