The Chad Posted July 6, 2009 Share Posted July 6, 2009 Hey, since there isn't really a set order that you do the missions in I was wondering if it is possible to maybe miss a mission somehow. Or is it if you get to the last mission then you have cleary done all the previous ones? I'm going for 100% and for some reason I keep on feeling that I'm skipping something. radioman Posted July 6, 2009 Share Posted July 6, 2009 (edited) It is possible to get to the Final Mission Keep your Friends Close before everything else is done. I think it is possible to reach the last mission with as little as 40% done. It is worth checking out this pinned topic, if you plan on going towards 100%. Hope this helps. @flicko or spuds, I think this is better suited to the Gameplay section rather than the PC section? As it talks about general gameplay rather than just PC specific. I'm still new to making threads If I do get to the 'last mission' by say 40%, and then do everything else that needs doing, I'm not going be stuck on 99% for missing some mission way back? Spuds725 Posted July 6, 2009 Share Posted July 6, 2009 Don't worry, there is nothing in the mission sequence of Vice City that will prevent you from getting 100% (unlike GTA 3 where it was possible to lock yourself out of a few missions)... it is actually possible to complete the story with as little as something like 20% if you do the absolute minimum-- don't do any jumps, packages, don't buy any extra safe houses... etc... Moved to Gameplay-- note-- since you are likely on PC (since you posted it in the PC section) and you get to the point where you don't know what you have left for 100%, in the pinned thread (download database) there is a 100% game inspector available-- will tell you exactly what you are missing... it won't tell you where a specificpackage or jump is if you have those left, but it will tell you that they aren't done or any other mission or side task.
