Arski
So, i got a new Asus HD4850 512MB GDDR3 and i got problems with it: 1. When i play GTA IV, and when it goes to Loading... Screen or whatever else loading screen, the card starts to make noise, like a bee or something it sounds like when youre writing to your CD with your keys or knife or something. 2. Sometime's my graphics card gives up and the monitor goes to sleep, i cant do nothing, just to restart system... what is this all about, how to fix...? Abel.
W8. ALTIS A-450CX 450W PSU and for the love of god please do not say that need to buy a new one! this has worked with HD 3850 and 9400 GT too... Those cards are both less powerful and requre less PSU power. Your PSU's wattage sounds like it should just about cut it, however, it may not have enough amperage on the 12 Volt rails. I reccomend something like this.
Arski
But this says: Minium Power supply needed: 450W, i have no money to buy a new psu again... oh sh*t, and i bought this 450W with 80 f*cking euros...this must be a quality one..
anus
80 Euros for that? You got TOTALLY ripped off. That brand is a generic brand, haven't even heard of it before. So, even though these generic/cheap brands claim to have a certain amount of power, they usually can't provide what they claim and top out lower. That and generic/cheap PSUs also have very low amperage on the 12V rails, which is very important for high performance components. Get a 500W PSU from a brand like Corsair, Antec, Tagan, BFG, OCZ, Thermaltake, FSP and make sure to ASK here before you buy!

anus
Unless you're stressing the card, it won't make noise. Try playing IV or other demanding games and see what happens.
