Robinski
Well, I'm currently at Sixth Form studying Law, Maths, Eng Lan and ICT. But I'll be dropping ICT after AS level to take up an AS in Critical Thinking for second year. SO I'm kind of limited as to what I'm going to do at university. Initially I was thinking about doing a Law degree, but I'm now starting to doubt my abilities in that field and am looking more towards something like Journalism or a related subject. My other major path is the army. I've been inetrested in what our military's doing and its role in current conflicts ever since the Iraq and Afghan invasions and can see myself fitting into it. I'm hoping to be successful in applying for a scheme where they'll pay you a large grant for your degree in return for training as an officer and signing at least four (mabye more) years of your life to them. I've been told by a few people (some ex-forces) that I would make a good officer due to my way of thinking and management skills. My only worry about the army is that I wouldn't be able to hack it, I mean I'm a scrawny runt; I'm good at cardio stuff but physical strength has never been a strong point of mine. But i suppose I can always bulk up. After one of my friends joined the Royal Marines in September, I've been increasingly considering the Army as a viable career option. He loves it and he's a real inspiration to me now, definetly someone I look up to. Anyone here have any experiences in the British Army? I'd love to hear them. Actually, I always thought writing or reviewing something is a cushy job, that you can even freelance, but now the press is pretty PO'd over the influence of Blogging in this day in age, I just saw a report on that. Try you hand at success with a Blog however, even pros have them! hahaha I don't like typing and fixing the errors, so I mainly don't... but if you could write a book and make some money off it, that's be cool. I hear it's tough actually to make good money off a book. I'm looking for machine op and packaging jobs, I like just WORKING, not having to deal with stress on any level. I worked several assembly lines however and those can get stressful!
ObsydianRaven
Since I'm 14, I still got a long way. But my current goal is to get a job in the gaming industry working for Rockstar. Another thing I was hoping to be a software designer. But if none of these happen, I've always wanted to be a rapper, I mean, I have been writing alot of rap lately. FullMetal
I have given it some thought. Considering 'pychology' or 'languages' (Dutch with English and Spanish) and eventually going to do a master in Journalism. Still not sure about it... don't really have a 'goal' nor 'vision' of my future. What kind of job I'd be practicing and whatnot. Though, I've thought about having a 'sabbat year'. Since I failed my first year of History at the university I was thinking of signing up for a little job to earn some money/save some money and give it a thought. Heck, even thought about joining somekind of programme for a couple of months to help out some 'development organisation'. It kind of appeals to my spirit and it might give me some interesting viewpoints.

avito coleone
Hey, I am 21 and I finished all my schooling in NSW australia in 2005. Since then I have been a chef, a boner (as in a meat deboner) and am now studying psychology at university. I guess career choices are really up to you. You need to find something your good at and enjoy, and see how it goes. As you can see by the list of my old jobs, I tried being a chef, I was good at it, I enjoyed the work, however the hours didnt suit me so I left the job. I started working in an abbitiors, again, I was good at it, I enjoyed the work, but my mind was not being stimulated by the work. So I quit and decided to try uni, which I am loving. Its pretty sweet studying knowing that at the end of it I will come out of it with a degree and be elligable for a reasonably high paying job. If you are confused about your career choices go see a psychologist and take the mia-briggs test. it shoucl lead you in the right dierection based on your personality

If your looking to get into journalism, consider improving your English first. How ironic... At 14 you're not supposed to know what you want to do yet, but rather finding out what interests you, like activities. I didn't even think about it until I was 16-17. Also, why do you think people change college majors all the time? Even they can't decide yet. At your age you're only supposed to discover what you are strong in, what weaknesses you have, etc. Don't worry, it will come to you eventually. If you come back and say "bawww all im good at is masturbating, eating and sleeping" then you're not doing it right. For example, when I was 16-17 I started finding out I liked English and journalism media. I also have a strong interest in sports and international affairs, so right now I'd like to get into sports journalism or being a foreign correspondent. If that doesn't work out I have many other interests in business, law enforcement, firefighting opportunities that I can also look into. Thats all this career bullsh*t is: combining your strengths with your interests. Edited July 9, 2009 by The Killa

I've just taken Computer Apps for my first semester and Digital Design for my second semester my Sophmore year in high school. Digital Design was my best grade with an A. Now during my Junior year I'm going to take Geometry and try to pass with atleast a B and take AP Computer Science my Senior year.

Cheat
This is so f*cking stereotyphic, but.. I've been dreaming about making music for my whole life. I grow up playing guitar and watching my dad and my big brother do songs from 7 years old to 10 years. We had a school band for 6 years, in which I learned - on the side of guitar - to play keyboard. Until I gave up rock music and moved to rap. After that, I started writing lyrics age 11, got Adobe Audition and started remixing tracks, been doing beats with FL Studio for 1 ½ years now, own a mic, still being active on this. Me and two of my friends setted up rap battles and freestyled really active for 3 years until the two other guys moved to another city. And always while doin' this.. I feel it is where I belong. And now, I'm 14.

Kaj.
Police officer. I'm 19 and currently in college taking a Police Foundations program to help bolster my portfolio, which at the moment, isn't very impressive as it's rather non-existent. However, average hiring age in Ontario is 24-26, so I figure I have enough time to get some volunteer work in, complete all the required testing (and there's a sh*tload, trust me), and get some proper life experience in. •Rapidoh
Well..right now I'm doing f*ck all. Well there's nothing I can really do right now except look for a part time job because I'm working on getting my American Visa. Right now all I have to wait for is my final interview down in London at the US Embassy which will take a couple of months or more to get the letter through the door about it. But after my interview I'll know if I'll get accepted or not. Which I'm pretty much sure I will since my mum and my aunt are both US citizens. After that, I'll be going through the process of joining the US Navy. If that falls through then well, I'll probably end up going on some college course. Andrewbot
After pursuing my dream of wanting to be a mechanical engineer for maybe 3 years, I determined I didn't like math *that* much so now I am going to be starting my third year out of four in my university's Business school. I am double majoring in Business Administration and Accounting. Both my parents earned their business degrees at a CalState school, my sister just graduated with hers from USC, so it is kinda family tradition to study business. After I graduate, I hope to stay in the San Diego area and be an accountant for a place willing to hire me.
