Stuch
Here was my first clients website maryelizabethspreitzer.com the contact at the bottom is how you can contact us for a job, if I receive any spam from anyone you will be reported to a law enforcement office, we are registered under a protected warenty with local offices and they will contact higher levels if that warenty is breached. I am located in Iowa, USA, so you need to local or be able to discuss things by e-mail. $300,000? For that? I'm going to be a millionaire.

I'm sorry but that doesn't look like a site someone earning $300,000 a year would make. 1. she didn't pay me much 2. thats all she wanted it for 3. that is my first client, I did that 6 years ago. ^You forgot that I have several clients a month, you guys want a better example? Heres the one I made for my server http://www.budgetwebservices.com (the image is out of place, I have to enlarge it when I get around to it) Edited July 5, 2009 by trickstar34

I am only 16 with a mere 8 months of HTML coding and I could pull of a site better then that. If you earning $300,000 on that quality then I need to get myself into the bloody website design bussiness. More to the point: Right now my Dad has given me a small job as Labourer on one of his developments. Its not really for the money but more to lose a bit of extra weight before I go to spain But I used to earn a small bit of cash doing speical effects for films. Not big ones but small indie ones. I only have one effect up since legally I do not own the clips so its not my descion wheather I can upload them but here is a small sample clip I did a LONG time ago. http://www.vimeo.com/2058972 I litterally had f*ck all to work with but I only charged the guy $30 for the effect and while it may look easy it was hell due to tracking issues Theres a few other videos on my profile I did when I got sh*t bored
Doink
Well that's sweet that she'd let a 13 year old design her website. Why doesn't your own website look that good? Edited July 5, 2009 by Doink
trickstar34
You did that when you were 13? What was it your mother's website? No, that women there is much older than my mother and has no children, I think I will remove that link since I see I am only receiving spam. Well that's sweet that she'd let a 13 year old design her website. My father was the one who got the deal set up, she didn't even know I had anything to do with it till I was done. And BTW if you are as good as you say you are you are lying, that website is utter b*llocks.

trickstar34
Anybody feeling like they can show me better than this? http://www.budgetwebservices.com I'm sure you could be doing business with Bob Parson of godaddy, and I'm sure you could get FBI protected server service yourselves. On Amazon it says it was first published April 2008. It was done this year, I see you guys do pay attention.

trickstar34
I'm just trying to figure out why your gta website doesn't look as nice as that budget site. Because I haven't figured out what to put in it. Any idea's would be nice. The domain was registered and the book was first published in 2008. You've got great foresight. You've fought my bluff, that wasn't my first client, but it was pretty basic because of how little she paid and she said she was happy with it. So I just left it. Stuch
Maybe we should lay off trickstar now. He's proved his worth and also brought up a valuable point. Starting up your own business is a great way to go, all be it risky. But hey, that's entrepreneurship!

trickstar34
Yea, but I always start a website with the main page, and it seems harder to make a site with my own content without someone else telling me what they want, and I am having trouble with my ASP.Net hit counter, I'm so used to PHP. I have no idea what to introduce everything with.
Eoghan
Dude my stepdad made this site http://flowershop.ie/ and he isnt getting payed nearly as much as you supposedly are. like 20k for that site so I dont believe you are getting 300k a year. matthew1g
wow trickstar, considering the quality of your websites to those of my 17 year old friends, they should be filthy rich right now! http://www.d2solutions.com.mt/ to be on topic, I really have no clue what I'm going to take, Right now my course teaches both software and hardware (networking etc). In the second year they let us choose one of them to focus on, people say software is better and pays more but then again no one is choosing networking and hardware so in the long run I think it would be easier to find a job in networking. I'm really confused when it comes to choosing my career. Edited July 5, 2009 by matthew1g

trickstar34
Look if I had someone to tell me what they wanted, I could make it exactly how they want it. The budgetwebservices.com (I have to get everything approved at godaddy before I can do anything with it) has been my prize for a couple years. I just need some kind of good introduction for my GTA site and I'll be on my way for it. I would like to takke some suggestions for it to make things better. I don't really have someone telling me whether it's good or not, so I keep just changing layout instead of content. Trickstar, why do you claim to be based in Iowa but your website is registered in Arizona? I'm taking a guess here, but I believe that is where his host is located at. That is why, that is where godaddy is. That budget site is a server page with them. Edited July 5, 2009 by trickstar34

Chargr
If you need any help with your site you should be here: http://www.gtaforums.com/index.php?showforum=9. I'll go back on topic. I'm interested in the Criminal Justice field, and Human Resources. Haven't decided yet, but I need to make a decision soon.
