trickstar34
What do you think the most idiotic thing you can do in San Andreas is? I think it would be using cheats. Honestly, never used them and I see all these people with problems because of them, I bet Rockstar made it purposely do that because they only want the true GTA players (the ones that don't use cheats) to beat it. Benjimino234
cheats are fine. i always create 2 files. 1 for proper gameplay and the other for cheats. Your missing out on fun, like having a tea of old grannys fighting off peds with weapons. Or doing this glitch.... Territories all over SA It provides lots o' fun! Blizzard14
What? "bringiton" is the cheat for the automatic 6-star wanted level. Hence starting a new game and entering that cheat, is pretty "Idiotic" since you have no weapons at all and your health is extremely low.
Benjimino234
Well cheats are definitely not recommended on your game file where you reaching for the 100% anyway.

By the '>' sign, he didn't imply that a new game was greater than the cheat. He meant to use it as a directional pointer to indicate the next step, which is the same as saying start a new game and then enter the cheat. For example, Start > Options > Display indicates how to get to the display options menu.

GTA Phreak
Most idiotic - Jumping off a building when you think you have a parachute equiped, when you do not. Jumping of medium height building without realizing that you DO have a parachute in your inventory is a lot worse.
Flesh-n-Bone
Jumping of medium height building without realizing that you DO have a parachute in your inventory is a lot worse. Agree. You just don't get the chance to open your parachute and thus die instead. For me it would be, setting a car on fire and then entering it.

TonyClifton
One of the most consistent, idiotic things I did when playing San Andreas, was to get C.J. caught in the blow back of the molotov. He would be regularly hopping about, "Wow, ow, ee, ow, wow, wowa", even though I had been most careful when throwing it. Got the hang of it more now though, so he's not so crispy round the edges these days. I just love that weapon though.

Im pretty sure you'd die from jumping off the tallest building without a parachute [/sarcasm]. @Phreak: What would you be jumping of a medium sized building without a parachute for anyway? If you said that you did not realise you had a parachute equipped, then you were planning to jump off without one?

If you said that you did not realise you had a parachute equipped, then you were planning to jump off without one? I don't think Phreak was talking about jumping from a tall building. He meant a building from middle height which you would normally lose 25% health if you jump from it. The game automatically equips you with a parachute (when you have one) if you jump from a building that will deal a great loss of health. One example is top of Mount Chiliad to a lower level of the mountain, I don't mean all the way to the ground and the streets but a bit lower down the mountain. GTA Phreak
If CJ has max health he can survive a fall from any height!, - provided he hasn't got a parachute that is. (he will end up with a sliver of health left) With a parachute he can only survive a fairly short drop without the parachute fully deployed. So by medium height i mean not high enough to fully deploy the chute, but high enough to kill him Usually I don't "plan" to do that, but I've been wasted plenty from falling off a bike during a high jump (which wouldn't have happened without the parachute in the inventory) Just thought of another idiotic thing to do involving parachutes: Jump out of a plane and answer the ringing cell-phone Edited July 6, 2009 by GTA Phreak

(he will end up with a sliver of health left) Really? Why haven't i tried this before? I might go do this now, actually. Off the tallest building. EDIT: I tried a few things. First, got a Hydra went as high as i could and jumped put without a parachute. Strangely enough, i landed atop the destroyed Hydra on the ground and did not lose even an inch of health. Then, i did the same thing again. Went to the highest that i could in a Hydra and jumped out, making sure i didn't lad on the Hydra itself. I died instantly. Next, i went to the Big Pointy building. Went to the top, aquiring the parachute. Jumped off and let out the 'chute. As soon as it deployed properly, i let it go and fell to the ground, again, dying instantly. Then, i flew to the tallest building in LS and jumped off with no parachute, i died again. Dunno what im doing wrong but it could be to do with the fact that i have near minimal health. Also, i have a question. Before just then, i hadn't died in the game that i am playing through. So, i haven't activated that information icon that you do when you respawn at a hospital. However, when i died from jumping out of the Hydra in SF, i respawned at SF and that information thing never came up. When i died in LS, it did come up. Is it only the LS hospitals that do this? Does it have anything to do with the fact that i have the glitch enabled where you keep your weapons after dying even though Katie is not my girlfriend on this save, but has been before in that save slot? Blizzard14
Dont know whats wrong with your game GC, but on mine, you can also jump off from great hights and survive the fall, with a small amount of health. Maybe it has to do with the fact that you have a parachute in your inventory. Try to loose the 'chute and try it again. Anyways, we are getting a bit off topic now. GTA Phreak
With max health I mean that the health bar length is maxed (as from doing paramedic) and that you got full health (health bar full) That will be enough to survive any fall provided you only suffer a single impact in the process and that you don't have a parachute in your inventory (CJ is falling feet first) I've even tried it from the Stowaway Andromada (which is the highest point you can fall from in an unmodded game). In that case you will have to jump wearing the chute (otherwise a special cutscene is triggered which will kill you), but you can deploy it and then cut it away. (Don't get run over by a car after splat-down ) As for the (lenghty) wasted and busted introductions, they will only trigger if you end up at the hospital / police station in LS with the i icon. The message is triggered when you respawn right on top of the icon.

And yeah, my guy didn't have 'max' health.
trickstar34
Because 1. you keep your weapons after being busted until completing The Green Sabre 2. It is only the first city, so thats where they will have all the info icons. and also you can repeatedly press the jump button before you spawn, that way you don't have to read the info icon. I know that you can have girlfriends and use their abilities before the islands are open, but im saying that as soon as you start a new game, pick up a 9mm and get busted, you are not going to keep that 9mm.
