V-rock-till-u-drop Posted July 5, 2009 Share Posted July 5, 2009 I was in 'CEX' today browsing games,..i eventually picked up tiger woods PGA tour '07' for 5.00,.... i went to the till and found a man and his daughter chattin to the clerk. heres how it went Man: O.k ,.bring the manager down here now! Clerk: sir i could sort you Prob---- Man: bring the f*ckin manager down her NOW!!,.. The manager eventually came down,..at this point i was right beside the man Man: right,..i bought this phone from you the other day,..Whys it not workin. Manager: im sorry sir i dont know what the problem is! Man: it wouldnt turn on,..( showin the phone to the Manager) Man: I want a refund then! Manager: im sorry sir, we do not ofer refunds,.. Man: i want a f*ckING REFUND! Manager: im Sorry sir Man: I spent £90 on this f*cking phone, Now give me my Money back!! ( at this point the man was shouting at the top of his voice) Manager: If you wil just stay came sir---- Man: ( grabbing the box which the phone came in AND LAUNCHING IT AT THE CLERK) give me my f*cking money. Daughter: Dad!,.stop it Manager: sir if you dont came down i will call the Police Man: call the f*cking police then!!,.. (at this point the Daughter was starting to cry, The man was beside me shouting, the manager, clerk and other customers where in shock,..and , I was standing enjoying the show!! Man:,..GIVE ME MY f*ckING MONEYYYY!!! ( ROARING NOW) Clerk: sir the police are on there way,... ( At this point the Man grabbed the computer screen from the register and was ready to throw it at the manager,. the daughter grabbed her dad ,.. Crying Heavily,.. 'Come on dad',.the man threw the screen down and stormed out of the store,..For 5 minutes everyone was in shock,..then business resumed,..The clerk give me my game, The manger was in shock and the Customers got a Little excitement,. They have to deal with some real idiots and even if the person is really stupid they have to be really calm and helpful. But if a store has an explicit "no returns/refunds" policiy then the terms of the warranty must be met by the manufacturer which must be done by the customer himself, not via the store.
