Omega90210
Hey, I need to get my GTASA to v1.1, but in order to do that i must get v1.0...When i went to use the 1.1 patch, i got the Old file not found error, and then i looked that up and read that apparently that means i have v2.0, now when i went to use the downgrade patch, It gave me this: Now im lost completley, which is it? Do i have v2.0 or 1.1 already? How can i tell? Does anyone know of a way i can tell what version i have currently...like is there a file or something in the directory? Anything? Im hoping to get 1.1 so that i can use a decent resolution cause i hear thats what they fixed in 1.1... Thank you.
lil weasel
the 1.1 is to lockout/remove the 'hot coffee' from the v 1.0 game. V2 is already 'Cleaned'. There is no Patch for the v2 game.

Girish
From what I've heard, the support for higher resolutions that was added in the v1.01 patch was also included along with v2 games since v2 copies were released after the v1.01 patch was made available. So, if you have v2, the patch is not for you and you should be able to run the game at those high resolutions. But first, lets determine what version you have. Go to your installed San Andreas folder and then to this location: Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas\data\script\ Here, you'll find a 'script.img' file. Check it's size. If it's 568 kb, then you have v1. If it's 562 kb, then you have v2.
