faro0485
If you put everything to low (including resolution), pressing space and enter. Then putting the texture to high. Restarting the game. Then setting the texture to low, ignoring the restart of the game, and putting the other settings back to where they were... Has anyone else tried this? AmbiquitY
Yes I've tried this also, seemed to work for me. Or I just didn't notice that the textures actually did get worse or something.. Whatever, just use norestrictions if you really want high textures =)

Yeah, i want to try it out too.I still got the 3rd patch installed, looks like the new patch screwed up a few things.(again)Maybe it'll work with that. Arkangel
just use -availablevidmem 2.0 and set whatever textures you like
kingddd
just use -availablevidmem 2.0 and set whatever textures you like problem is the chances of stuttering increases because it takes your physical ram from your computer and make it act like video memory which is slower.
